I haven't had a mechanic I can trust since 2002 due to various career relocations. A coworker recommended Bernie's after I just dropped 1,200 on 4 engine mounts, a cv boot and an oil change at some other garage. She also gave me a card for a free oil change which is always a cool deal. I took one of our vehicles in and they even replaced the dead battery in her security remote at the same time. Everyone else has said, "Go to the dealer." These guys are absolutely awesome. When I walked in the front door they looked professional and obviously knew what they were talking about from the first words uttered. The mega plus: they didn't try and talk me into senseless replacements for things I knew didn't need to be done. They recommended realistic things that could be done next time I had the extra cash, and they assured me that a problem wouldn't leave me by the side of the road. BUT... if I was left with a disabled vehicle they also have free towing. I about slapped myself in the face to make sure I wasn't dreaming. They also gave me a rewards card which gives me a percentage back with every service done. I've NEVER had a mechanic that's done that even my favorite mechanic known as "Dad." I will definitely continue taking all our vehicles to Bernie's.
Pros: Professional, well-mannered, knowledgable, efficient
Cons: I haven't found any yet.

Great service I took my toyota in after another shop told me I needed a new frt end that my suspension was shot the car was all over the road. After about 15 min the people at Elliott told me I needed 2 new tires and alignment on my car.That the frnt end did not need overhauled. After the 2 tires were install and aligned the car was back to it's normal self. Thanks for the honest service . Peter

I was very pleased with the work Aaron and his associate did with my black USP Audi A4. The exterior was not in good shape due to some pretty bad swirl marks. They were right on time in picking up my car and put 16 solid man-hours into making it look better than the day I bought it. Almost all the swirl marks were removed and the car shone in a shade of black I didn't think was possible. Honestly, it's like I have a brand new car. If you want truly the best detail, for the interior or exterior, 3LG is the only place to go in the greater Puget Sound area.

Larry's Volvo's owner Warren is the type of person you would trust your Volvo to. Always good advice, fair prices, and most importantly he is HONEST. If something does not work out, he will go out of his way to get it fixed. A few times he did not even charge us when the problem was not completely fixed.

Good: New owner is Paul Yoshihara, who worked for the former owner who retired. Paul's service (estimating, working with insurer) was excellent and the body work was great. He is easy to deal with and very professional. The reviews of the old H&I were high, and they may deserve to be a little higher now.. Bad: It took a bit to be able to clearly understand the woman who answers the phone (Asian accent). But she is also very good to work with..

Moe is a very unique mechanic. Although I don't have a Saab and have not had him work on my car, I can tell that his customers love him and think the world of the way he treats them. Let me explain: One morning, while we were meeting on a business matter, a customer came in early to pick up her car. She already had a plate of cookies in her hand when she walked in the door. She had made them special for him the night before. They talked about what he had found wrong with the car and had done to fix it. I was amazed when she exclaimed, "Wow, I was expecting the bill to be much higher!" Before leaving, she gave him a big hug and thanked him for all he does to take care of her car and not take advantage of her.
So, I ask you... When was the last time you hugged YOUR mechanic?
