I found this place from an article on top rated auto repair shops in the Seattle Times. They're honest people with fair prices. On a routine oil tune-up, they discovered an oil leak that a Subaru dealership had missed! They do not pressure and they actually have this great "Car Club" deal where you buy 3 oil changes and they give you one free 15K service.

I have two Hondas and have used Burien Japanese Auto Service several times. While I sometimes am a fan of doing service work at dealerships (for genuine parts, etc.), this is a great place for tune-ups and oil changes. In fact, they do a cheaper oil change for my CRV, and they know they have to blow the excess oil out of the oil pan, or it will drip on my driveway. That's the very nice thing about their specialty in Japanese cars. Their pricing is average but sometimes cheaper than the dealer for things like belts, spark plugs, and air filters.

Like the name implies, Burien Japanese Auto works exclusively with Japanese automobiles. While the master mechanics provide excellent service, and they have hired more staff over the years, they still can't meet customer demand. It is sometimes difficult to schedule your maintenance appointment quickly. Prices are fair and they run several promotions throughout the year.
