I just ate there an hour ago and am still enjoying the wonderful meal I had. They especially have VERY good Phud Thai along with many other very good items.
We took some out of town (very Thai food savvy) guests there and they loved it. They were able to quickly accomodatea large group of 13 people and were very on top of table service. I have been here many ties and consider it to be one of the better Thai food experiences in the Seattle area.

The food is great here. My Indian friend brought me because it reminds her the most of her mom's cooking back home. The flavors are complex and well rounded, they don't just make it spicy and leave it at that. There's a depth to each dish that is terrific. My idea of moderately spicy doesn't match with theirs though, two stars was eye watering, though the leftovers were perfectly mellowed. This is definitely my favorite Indian restaurant in Seattle.
Pros: Full flavor, well developed dishes
Cons: service can be slow on occasion

I Love Sushi Kudasai!! The quality and preparation of the food is top notch. It is rare to get food of this quality in a take out kiosk. Service is good as well. I just wish these folks had a full service restaurant....
Pros: Fresh Quality Ingredients
Cons: Only for Lunch - take out - not a full service restaurant

My boyfriend and I are on a little mission to visit and explore many sushi restaurants in Seattle. This one by far has been the best. We prefer a smaller restaurant to the more busy bustling 'corporate' ones, and if you are the same this is the place for you. Maximum 10 tables, getting there before the dinner rush is suggested. Extremely competent and engaging staff, they provide recommendations which were much appreciated. The environment was nice, clean, and homey. The 'Fire on Da Mountain' roll was excellent, so much so we ordered a second roll despite being full! This is a highly suggested restaurant. Go check it out!
Pros: Creative yummy sushi rolls, service, environment
Cons: Parking can be interesting

First off, so many Indian restaurants taste the same dish to dish. Everest kitchen does not!! Best Lamb Tika Masala I have ever had! Excellent sevice, good prices and fantastic food. Don't let the appearance of the place fool you, not fancy ambiance just killer food. The Naan is especially good along with the garlic version. The lunch buffet is limited but good, dinner is a whole other story. Try some of the Nepal menu also.
Pros: Food, service, overall attitude!
Cons: Ambiance

This was one of the pricier meals I've ever had but it was worth it just this once for the experience. It's a reservation-only place & they start preparing your feed in advance right in front of you. Seating is limited and everyone sits around the bar while the chef cooks so it's a very cozy experience. The food was delicious and the seafood very fresh. I was so full. I both wanted the meal to end (b/c of fullness) and continue (b/c of the yumminess!). I definitely want to go here again. I think I will give the $60 omakase a try -- I don't think I can afford $100 each time!
Parking here can be a nightmare but if you are eating upstairs, you get the special privilege of parking in the private garage.

I love sushi, and have a few places I would recommend, but J's beats ALL of them hands down! The food is ALWAYS good and the fish is always fresh. He walks right down the street at all hours of the day to pick up his orders. I thought all sushi just had that "raw fish" taste. Not the case. His fish all taste different, and feel different. Some of them are like butter, they just melt in your mouth. He also has some of the best home mad gyoza you will ever have, and its only $4.00 for 6 pieces! Did I mention they are home made?! Ja is super nice and VERY accomodating. His rolls are creative and superbly executed. U will walk out of there with a whole new outlook on sushi. U think I'm exagerating? Try it and see, no where in seattle is this good. Enjoy!

I was excited to hear that a new Sushi place was opening in Ballard! Little did I know that it would rank in my top Sushi experiences. I have been there about 5 times since its opening, and have found their sushi to be extremely consistent and top of the line. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! I have been to most of the top Sushi places in Seattle and think those are wonderful too, but Shiku beats them all. The staff there is amazing as well, probably the friendliest I have come across. The Sushi chef (and I think he is an owner too) Johnny is a crack-up and always sending out free sushi for people to try. Even if you don't like sushi that much their "non sushi menu? is incredible I would recommend the slow roasted pork tenderloin, or the Kobe beef! I am a definitely a Sushi snob and would never write a recommendation unless I really thought it was an exceptional experience!
Pros: Sushi quality, service, non sushi menu
Cons: sometimes there is a wait as the restauant is pretty small
