I enjoy going to neighborhood plays/musicals (in West Seattle) however a part of me aches to go into Arts West. Its just too clausterphobic and the seats are too uncomfortable. They really need a makeover to make a few revisions to the layout as unless you are in the front row or are on and row's ending you are likely going to feel the same way. I will likely continue to go regardless of where I end up but an upgrade would make this place so much more enjoyable.

I enjoy going to neighborhood plays/musicals (in West Seattle) however a part of me aches to go into Arts West. Its just too clausterphobic and the seats are too uncomfortable. Artswest, located in West Seattle's California Junction area, is a small community theatre organization that puts on excellent local shows in a small performance space. They have very good actors and try out innovative and different material than most local companies. The auditorium is small, and cozy, but they use small sets to minimize any visual crowding. It's a good place to go see local theatre and one of my favorites.
