I LOVE this theater. The most unique in Seattle for so many reasons. They played Blade Runner last month and the auditorium was over half full! From the velvet curtains, no commercials, the sparkly ceiling, the retro decor, the very mature audience that seems to frequent this theater...everything about Cinerama is a plus in my book (Besides the seats needing to be replaced)...

If you want a place that is fun, energetic, with good games, great drinks, and a variety of bar style food, head to GameWorks! There is a wide variety of games and getting a game card is great because you can walk away and have credit for next time if you don't spend it all on Air Hockey! Head upstairs to the lounge and order a pitcher (huge pitchers, by the way), some appetizers (pizza, nachos, and chicken fingers were great), and watch the game on the many tv's suspended on the wall. This is the place to go for a group, team, family, or even a date -- just don't get too competitive with each other.
Pros: Large space, great food, large pitchers, fun environment
Cons: can't drink while playing games

We had the most delicious dinner, the salmon was cooked perfectly, the service was outstanding, and of course, the Luner Orbiter was just how I remembered when the space needle opened 62 when I was 7. Maybe the space needle is dear to my heart, and the needle was designed by a brilliant Mr. John Graham. I have eaten and spent alot of money in many fine restaurants in my time. and the space needle is at the top. I cant understand why anyone would complain because thy didn't get butter and salt on their asparagus. I can jolly well put my own salt and butter on asparagus.
Pros: the most comfortable seating and of coarse the view!
Cons: nooonnne!

I recently purchased several tickets for a large party to Ride the Duck and realized that the date I had chosen was wrong. The glaring words "No returns OR exchanges" on my confirmation email taunted me (WHOOPS!). I called the next morning, which was the morning of the day I had purchased, hoping to plea with someone to let me exchange for the following date. I thought for sure that I would not be able to exchange tickets I had purchased for 4 hours from the time of phone call.
I spoke with a man named TRAVIS and he was so wonderful. He helped me book the later date without question or criticism. Thank you so much DUCK! My party should go off without a hitch!

I live in Kentucky and I went to Seattle and to the underground tour on 9/30/2008 and what an experience! It was one of the best tours I have ever been on at any city! I am origanly from Savannah, GA and being from there I have been on many the tour of city history. I have to say though, never experiencing what I did in Seattle. Being underground at the door way into the area where the "seamtresses" were said to work, I was felt like and thought my husband had grabbed me on the arm by my elbow and when I looked down he was not touching me, he wasn't even where he should have been to have touched me there. No one was. I heard stories of many places being haunted or whatever being from an old city myself but that I have to say was my first time ever something of that nature happening to me. I can't wait to go to seattle again and doing the tour again to next time bring a camera and see if i can get a picture of proof of my experience of the Seattle underground. I recommend this tour to everyone!!
Pros: Best tour guides
Cons: Hard to find if you dont know the city well

This is a great place to spend an hour or two on a rainy day with a toddler. My almost one year old son had a great time in the "Discovery Bay" area, which has lots of stuff geared for the age 0-3 set. It seemed like most of the museum was for kids age 3 to early elementary school. But "Discovery Bay" is more than sufficient for a toddler's short attention span! We are looking forward to going back.
Pros: Lots of interactive, stimulating stuff for kids
Cons: Parking is a pain

I have visited this garden several times but today was transforming - there was a Japanese music duo playing music in the garden. Everyone should know! They play lovely music in the garden on Sunday afternoons! I had to blink to remind myself that I wasn't in Japan - the combination of the scenery and the music was just like stepping into another world.
Pros: Wonderful ambience. Low-cost healing for the soul.

More
The Odyssey Maritime Discovery Center is another fun and educational place to go with the entire family. Its located in a nice modern building. Parking is available in a parking garage across the street. My kids enjoyed the kayak that you get to try out by paddling through a virtual bay. They also loved the exhibit where they can climb aboard this play structure and operate a fish conveyer and pretend to be fishermen. The Odyssey is only open on Tuesdays-Saturdays.
