I've heard from several people that SJ&J was THE place to go if you needed running shoes. I walked in and was greeted by staff immediately. Ty listened to my workout goals and chose several shoes for me. He was very disarming and helpful, he made me feel right at ease with all my questions and concerns. I left with an awesome pair of running shoes and will shop there again and tell everyone I know how helpful the staff is there. Thanks, Ty!

This is a great store for excellent customer service and a great quality product. The sales people take time with each person to ensure that they get the best fitting shoe for their foot. They have a large selection of brands and sizes. My boyfriend who has a 4E wide shoe, was happy to find a selection of styles to try on.
Their prices are also the same as those found a department stores, so for the extra customer service that comes along with the purchase, there is no reason to shop anywhere else. They are great!

Super Jock N Jill is worth the trip from any part of the state. The selection of running gear is outstanding. Every kind of shoe possible, workout clothes, etc. The staff will help you and do running tests with you to determine the correct shoe for your needs. They aren't trying to sell you just one brand or a specific price either. And prices are good and they have the occasional sale as well.

Prices are typically rather high, but you can find good sale prices from time to time. One thing thats nice is that you are able to find clothing thats not what everyone else is going to be wearing.

Yards from the paths of Greenlake lies Super Jock 'n' Jill, the mecca for runner's in Seattle. This is the place to buy footwear, and they are famous for having salespeople who will watch you run aroound the block, see how you stride (pronate, etc) and then match you up with the right shoes. They don't carry much for non-runners, so don't bother otherwise. And then you can just lace up and run the lake!
