I have been shopping at Buffalo Exchange for the last 6 years, and nearly I go I find something great! They carry such a wild variety of clothes, accessories, shoes, etc. - if you're into really creating your own look, this is the place to go! They play great music, and I've always found the staff to be very helpful. I love that they're open a little later on week nights (til 8 or 9), so it's the perfect place to go after work for some retail therapy.
Of course, since they have A LOT of stuff, it definitely takes some time to sort through everything there. But if you get a thrill from combing through clothing racks, you've got to check out Buffalo Exchange!
Oh, and the locations in Portland and San Francisco are just as fun!

While I'm sure there are good clothes here, they are hard to find. Well, if you're a size small and look good in most things, then this is the place for you!
But I think the saddest part of the Buffalo Exchange experience is trying to sell clothes. I know they have to make money, but they turn their noses up! Not everyone is a slave to fashion, hence the reason they sell their clothes! So it's a mixed feeling from me.

I cant stand Buffalo Exchange. I have some friends that LOVE it and I have some that feel the same way I do. The only items I have been able to purchase are shoes. One of my friends has the same complain that shoes are the only things she can find in this store that seem to match her needs. I have brought items to sell here and when the clerks are looking it over you feel like you are involved in some kind of popularity contest. I have instant flashbacks to high school when all the trendy popular girls would walk by, look me up and down and shake their heads in disgust. Not a good feeling. However some people LOVE it here and its worth checking it out to see if it fits your style.

Buffalo Exchange is great place for a girl (or guy) on a budget to shop. Sometimes you have to search through some hideous clothes, but I always find something to love. Their jeans section almost always has a few pairs of gently used, designer jeans. They also offer cash or store credit for clothes you bring in, though you have to make sure to only bring in clothes to sell that are in season—they don’t pay much (or anything) for scarves in July.

In my experience, the cheapest thrift store on the Ave. I've been fortunate many times to find a good pair of pants for under $10, as well as shoes, belts, and shirts for similar prices. They have a great rack of dresses that would be excellent for costumes. They have a large buying counter, but they're very specific about what kinds of clothes they're buying at any given time, and very picky. But it's worth a try, especially for store credit.

if you want a great way to recycle your clothes, and earn some extra cash, this is it !!!!!!!! as long as they are in good condition and cute, current styles or funky hard to find items, they will usually buy them! they add up the total according to the prices they will re-sell them for, and give you either 40% of that in cash, or 55% in trade!!!!!!!!! then you either have extra cash, or "new" clothes, your choice!!!!!!!!

Buffalo Exchange is a pretty sweet store located on the Ave near the University of Washington. It is a good place to go to sell any clothes you were going to give to the Good Will and get a little cash for them. As for buying clothes, I have only bought accessories for costumes and such, never really bought any clothes to wear on a regular basis. But then again, thrift store shopping is not really my forte! It is a tad over priced though.

I'm not really a shopaholic...but I like to sell stuff. I've sold some clothes here but I've never really bought anything there. The prices are OK, but nothing special...you can get similar clothes brand new at stores when they go on sale.
They pay OK for your clothes too...but hey, the clothes you're selling you were just going to toss anyways.

Buffalo Exchange is one of the better stores in Seattle for used clothes. They have a great selection that is fairly constantly turning over, so you always see new things. The prices are very reasonable, but you can get some good things here. I even got a great Kenneth Cole watch after trading in some clothes. They also have a service to donate the clothes that you bring in if they don’t buy them from you.
Worth a visit!!
