I only go to this store for my mintor chineese needs (chopsticks and rice bowls). They carry pretty good stuff at a fair price! Though I've never seen the cosmetics its in the stores name so i believe they cary them. They have alot of cool things, like those straw umbrella's, fans, and nice little tea pots and glasses... Its an asian gift store so if you want to get something asian gift oriented i'd recommended this small place on aurora! Easy on the wallet, and good quality stuff!

I picture the proprieter of the Admiralty House, a maritime "filled to the gills" looking antique junk shop, as a grizzled old proprietor with a old pipe and a glass eye, who gets up most mornings and cackles, "ach . . . work who needs it?" and decides to flip back over for a much needed nap. So his cool looking, seaworthy items, which look like they were lovingly collected over a long and rich lifetime, regard you balefully through thick panes of glass . . . never will you get in to have that closer look, that small caress, and perhaps that purchase.

This isn't a bad thrift store located a little up from Pioneer Square getting closer to the Intl District. My main complaint is that they never seem to be open any time I come by - I think they're only open about 20 hrs a week, so if you're planning on stopping, make sure to check the times in advance...

Walking into this store is like walking into grandma's attic. Things are haphazardly organized with little rhyme or reason to why they are positioned next to each other (Unless adjacent dishes and TVs are supposed to make you think of TV dinners).
It really does feel like an indoor garage sale with fluorescent round stickers on everything. I spoke to the owner and he is expanding the store soon (Thank GOD! You feel pretty clausterphobic in there).
But I did find a wood carved walking stick for $5 so its worth sticking your head in and taking a peak around.
