You know, I don't have a great vet to recommend to you, but once you find one, I really encourage you to check out the friendly and knowledgeable folks at Mud Bay Granary (especially since you live so close to U Village--maybe you already shop there). They are typically really well-informed about foods and supplements that compliment what your vet is recommending for your animal, and will prolong the life and health of your cat for not unreasonable amounts of money. Mud Bay Granary is a store that is very focused on your pets well being. This is evident in its advertisements and in the items that are chosen to be sold in the stores. The cat food selection includes a number of organic canned and dried foods as well as foods that contain whole vegetable, even granny smith apples. There is also a wide selection of pet accessories including toys and leashes. Dogs are treated to a very wide assortment of biscuits and canned food. The employees are also very knowledgeable and helpful. Mud Bay Granary has several locations throughout the Seattle area.

We've been going to Mud Bay granary for many years for all of our cat food and cat litter. Their selection of products that are healthy for your pet are outstanding. Every time we go in, the people that help us are friendly, helpful and very knowledgable about the products. I also think their prices are very reasonable for the quality of products that they sell. This place has never let us down, and we will keep on going back again and again.

Shopping at Mud Bay Granary is a bit like going to Whole Foods for your pet. While calling it foofoo is overly harsh, there's no denying that the quality of the food they offer is far and above that in your locale Petco. Besides food, they also offer a healthy supply of pet toys, housing, carriers, litter, and pretty much anything else you would expect.... all of a quality befitting of a foofoo pet store.

Mud Bay has a great selection of food for your dog or cat, many premium food brands that offer high quality. They also have environmentally friendly cat litter and lots of cute toys and treats. The staff is always extremely knowledgeable helpful, especially after I got 2 kittens from the shelter and wanted some recommendations on kitten food. With several locations around Seattle, check em out, there's probably one nearby!

After I moved to Seattle and discovered Mud Bay Granary, I was hooked! They have a great selection of healthy food items for dogs and cats, including wonderful selections of wet food -- none of the animal by-products for my cats! Plus great treats and toys, and helpful, friendly staff. My favorite (or rather, my cats' favorite) brand is Merrill's a canned food that only consists of meat (and not meat by-products), veggies, and vitamins and minerals), with such groovy types as Thanksgiving Dinner, Grammy's Pot Pie, Turducken, and Cowboy Cookout.
