While I was initially impressed with them, I have subsequently had less than optimal experiences with them & especially the Nutrition Center. It seemed as though they were always trying to upsell everything. I understand that they are in business to make money, but it got to be ridiculous & far too expensive. I have had a much better consistent experience at with the Banfield Vets at 130th & Aurora Petsmart.

I have been going to Broadway Vet since 1996. They have cared for four of my cats and also provided free/discounted care for some strays. I have used them for routine exams, dental care, boarding and emergency care. They have always provided excellent care and service, and have always been willing to work with me to determine the right course of care for my cats. Two of my cats had to be euthanized and the staff was compassionate and caring during this very difficult time. Yes, vet care can be costly, especially if you need testing and diagnostics, however, I don't think Broadway Vet is priced significantly higher than other clinics.

I recently took Maisie & Mister Magoo to the Broadway Veterinary Hospital after having some bad experiences with another vet. Prior to scheduling my appointment, I stopped in the office & not only were Mary and the rest of the staff very friendly and knowledgeable, but also the entire office was spotless. They were able to schedule me quickly. During our visit, we encountered nothing but a warm welcome from everyone we met. Liddy, our vet, was extremely well versed in the most current veterinary practices and the visit was wonderful and very thorough. I would wholeheartedly recommend them.

The Broadway Veterinary Hospital on 12th Ave. in Capitol Hill is fantastic. All of the staff I've interacted with so far has been incredibly caring and informative. They give you as much information as you want and they make sure you understand your options and the care they are giving your pet. As noted by another review, the parking can be a bit of a challenge unless you get there really early in the morning. But, there is additional parking in the back and so far I've had no trouble finding at least one spot. If your pet is on a special diet you will also love that they have a store downstairs from the vet's office.

I took my cats to the Broadway Veterinary Hospital for 4 years when I lived in capitol hill. It's a very good hospital with a caring staff and state of the art facilities. Prices are a bit higher than other vets in town, but this is one of the few AAHA certified vets in Seattle so you know that you're getting what you pay for. The particular vet who used to see my kitties is no longer there, but I'm sure that the remaining vets are top notch. One note: the parking situation can be pretty bad. They have a tiny little parking lot that seems to cause more problems than it's worth and street parking is spotty. I think they may have gotten some more parking up the hill a bit which would help the situation a great deal. They also have a little store attached which sells all the foods, etc. They are very nice and will spend hours talking to you about your pets if you want. :)
