The Underground Tour under Seattle's busy streets was a rather interesting experience for us. We really enjoyed it, as the tour guide was awesome - he spoke loudly enough so everyone could hear him and he was full of information. The group was just too large, we could barely move and with two small children was quite uncomfortable. The tour itself was interesting, but I really think they need to limit group size so that it's more enjoyable for those on the tour.

If you have out-of-town guests visiting, the Underground Tour is a good tourist activity to take them on. The tour guides are friendly, there are many tours every day, and it is a fun way to learn more about the history of downtown Seattle. Some of the information they tell you is hard to believe! It is an interesting tour, but unlike other Seattle tourist activities (Space Needle, Pike Place Market) I don't feel the need to do it more than once.

This tour shows the hidden Seattle below your feet as you wander around Pioneer Square. You go below the surface to discover our fair city's way of dealing with the scourge of daily floods from the incoming tides. There's a lot of strange hidden things, and the tours give a lot of local color and history. Well worth the time.

The Underground Tour is a good short history lesson if you want to know more about Seattle's early days. You start out in a bar and end up underneath Pioneer Square. The tour is well narrated but the size of the group was too large. It was hard to keep everyone together, and some of the times it was hard to hear the guide speak because of the chatter of other guests and the group size. The underground part was interesting, but it got boring really fast. Overall I recommend it but you'll only want to do it once.

The Underground Tour is a great little educational journey under the Seattles BUSY sidewalks and city streets. It's quite interesting and entertaining, or atleast all the adultson our tour thought so. The kids were VERY bored though. Be sure to dress warmly and wear good walking shoes as there are lots of stairs and cold winds below!

Many, many people referred me to the Underground Tour in Seattle. They said it was cool to see the foundation Seattle was built upon.
They were, however, very wrong. The tour was meant to be campy, however our guide knew very little. Not only that the tour sights were pretty lame. It consists of walking around a few basements, seeing where old sidewalks were and generally spending time in dark and dank areas.
Skip this one, it's boring and pointless!
