At the beginning everyone was very attentive and very proffessional, everyone recieved or returned my phone calls but after their deal didnt go through with the bank, they offered me another one way higher in price than the first one, after i said i didnt want it and that i wanted to return the vehicle after driving it all the way to Yuma AZ, no one would return my calls or take them. When i finally went over to return it, they wouldnt take it back making all kinds of excuses, the personel was very rude and unproffessional. Its been 3 weeks since I left the vehicle and i still havent recieved my down payment back and of course no one recieves or returns my calls. Stay away from this dealership you will regret it, i have bought many vehicles before and this is the worst place i have ever been at.

THIS IS THE WORST DEALERSHIP EVER!!! Do not buy a car from these people! They are not honest and do not care about their customers. They are out to screw you as much as possible and are not good on their word. On top of that, the contract you sign means nothing. Our family had a horrible experience with this dealership. We purchased a car from them and traded our old car in. We drove what we thought was our car for three weeks. Then, we start getting letters saying our old cars payment was late. We looked into it and found out that the old car was never was paid off. We called Van, and they told us they were still working financing for the car. No one EVER called us to tell us the deal wasn't done after three weeks! It gets better. They called us a few days later to tell us the car we had been driving for a month now, won't work. But, they could put us in a brand new car for only $200 more a month! We said no, and we took our old car back. We still had to deal with two late payments and our registration was past due on the old car since it had been sitting on their lot for a month. We have the old car back, but feel SO taken advantage of from these people. They caused our family a lot of stress, hours lost on dealing with all of this, and late fees on our payment for the old car and regisitration late fees. Plus, they killed our credit! We started looking up some information and found others who had similar experiences. Look up, "Bait and Switch." They did this to our family. No one should buy a car from these people, or this is what you can expect!
Go somewhere else where they value their customers. This is not the place. PLEASE don't put yourself through what we have been through the last month. They don't care about you! They only care about the bottom dollar.

I purchased a car from Van Chevrolet and two weeks later got a call from their finance department telling me that my financing didn't go through. They told me that I needed to come back in and sign new loan documents. I ask them about the new terms and they told me that my rate went up. Actually, they doubled my interest rate! When I told them they could have their car back, the finance guy said that a manager would call me. Well, it has been another week and I've called them several times and nobody will return my calls. All I want is my trade back (if they still have it). I urge everyone to STAY AWAY from this dealership!

My husband and I bought a used car from Van Chevrolet. They worked out a financial plan that worked for us and we signed all of the paperwork and were on our way! We were very happy with our new car. Then we started getting phone calls from random people at the dealership who never gave their name over the phone. Basically there were problems getting the loan approved with the bank. But they would never tell us exactly what was going on. We received a phone call from the manager of finances. He told us they worked out a new payment plan for us and all we needed to do was go in real quick to sign some papers. When we went in he wasn't even there. We spoke to the GSM and he told us we needed to have a co-signer for our loan or we were not allowed to keep the car. We had no heads up about this at all and were completely taken by surprise. They said we could not leave the dealership until we had made a decision. We were put on the spot and not to mention whomever we asked to co-sign for us was put on the spot as well. We told them we were unable to find a co-signer in such a short notice. If they would have given us a heads up notice it wouldn't have been a problem. Instead of sitting down with us and explaining what was going on, the GSM left the room without saying anything. 10 minutes later he comes in and tells us to get everything out of the car. We felt very manipulated. After we received our old trade in car there was no consultation or anything from the dealership. We spent a month with them and we ended up back to where we started. Very dissatisfied and unhappy. No matter what deals they throw at you, don't trust them.

I went into the Van Chevrolet dealership just to look around for a used car for my family and gather information. While I was at the dealership the sales men offered me all sorts of deals. Some sounded pretty good. I told them I would have to talk with my husband first before making any decisions. The sales man literally begged me not to hesitate or talk to my husband first and to just jump into the deal. He seemed desperate to sell this car in a hurry... in such a hurry he totally stepped over the line by telling me to not even mention this to my husband. Who does that?! Who would buy a vehicle without first consulting their husband/wife? I felt disrespected and since I was there alone I felt like they were trying to manipulate me. I would never recommend anyone to this dealership, especially a woman by herself.

My husband and I went to Van Chevrolet to look for a used car in our price range. We were not given a real opportunity to take a look at any cars or even tell them the type of car we were looking for. The sales man was in such a hurry to pick out a car for us. He picked out a decent Impala for us and allowed us to test drive it. While driving the car it was very uncomfortable and difficult to drive. We mentioned our concerns to the sales man and instead of allowing us to keep looking for a different car before we knew it they had us in a little office cube pressuring us to buy this car regardless that it was uncomfortable to drive. I felt very pressured and felt as though my needs and concerns were not being met. We told them we felt uncomfortable in the situation we were in and wanted to be able to sleep on it before making any decisions. What astounded me the most was that the sales man said to us that we needed to sign all the paperwork before leaving that night or the deal was off. He told us they needed to get their “numbers” in for the night and wanted to use us to meet their numbers for the day. We felt very used and disrespected.

A friend and fellow car enthusiast recently bought a car at Van Chevrolet. When she first got it she brought it to us to look at. The first thing we noticed was that the engine was covered in dust, as if it had never beed touched...so obviously they did not check the oil, filter, and other fluids. She said she got a great warrenty, and a 3-day return policy. Well 3-days later, the car borke down. Apperently they did not perform the 130 point inspection, and they admitted it. The fluid in the radiator was green instead of red (Dextron) so the radiator overheated and stranded her. At this point she knew this was not the vehicle for her so she returned it (under their 3-day) guarantee. Thinking this horrible experience was behind her, she started shopping for a vehicle again only to discover that they did not file the paperwork and told her she had to keep the car now. Upon her arrival to the dealership on day-6 she noticed that the car was completely detailed as they tried to cover thier tracks. At this point she talked to the sales manager about thier promises, but he only laughed at her and told her to "deal with it". So she is now filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bereau, and Federal Trade Commission, and has retained a lawyer for a civil claim. It's sad that such a large dealership would resort to such tactics and treat thier customers so poorly. I for one would never recommend them, nor would I give them any business.
Pros: None
Cons: Sales manager lies.

It all started off by me being interested in a new Chevy Suburban. I went to the Chevrolet website and filled out a request form for a "quick quote" on a 4WD Suburban. I was contacted by a man who told me that the Suburbans ranged in price. I wasn't given any specifics and he even asked me to come in and look at some Suburbans. I filled out a request for a quote because that is what I wanted. I was very upset that this guy was trying to waste my time. I had no idea if they even had the car that I wanted or if the price was going to work for me. He didn't even take the time to ask me what I was really interested in. I suggest when you have a customer interested in a specific vehicle or specifics in a vehicle you help them with that. I was very disappointed with Van Chevrolet and this guy.
