Life: Be In It. This was the motto that used to hang outside the Schaumburg Park District building on Springinsguth Road in the 1980s.
I remember going there for open gym and shooting hoops with the older guys. There were, and still are, a lot of gym rats. The Park District offers a wide variety of activities for all ages, including soccer, tennis, gymnastics, etc.
It is a special place for me because of all the after school activities that I did there. It's a great alternative to the street and runnin' with thugs and drugs.
If you are in the area, then you should definitely get involved or get your young ones in an activity.

This park district has many programs for kids. If you dont have anything to do the park district is the place to go. The programs are really fun and enjoyable. The park district also builds and maintains parks and pools. They recently added new slides to the atcher pool. Great Services.

The Schaumburg Park District is a great place for the entire family. They have a pool, a fitness area, and much, much more. They offer classes throughout the year for people of all ages. It's a great place to take the whole family to -- everyone will find something to do. It's also very reasonably priced; they have season passes, yearly passes, or even daily passes.
