I just moved to the area and I was looking for a club to workout. Someone gave me a flyer for an open house and came by. Little did I know this awesome club exists so close to my work. They have great classes, awesome parking, new equipment and friendly staff. I can workout during my lunch break, take a quick shower and head back to work in no time. Love it....
Pros: Clean, great atmosphere, friendly staff
Cons: can't think of one

A beautiful fitness club right besides the Promenade, with gorgeous women working out when the middle class is working.
Unfortunately, you need to be somewhat wealthy to afford the monthly bill.
If you can, enjoy.

This is a small gym located right on 3rd street promenade above the adidas store. It's small enough where you won't get lost but big enough that there are tons of machines. All the treadmills and most of the precors have their own TV's, just bring your earphones. They also offer a variety of yoga, pilates, and cardio classes. Parking is validated for 2 hours if you park in lot 1. Monthly membership is $55 but they also offer 6 months and yearly memberships with a slight discount. With membership you get 2 free sessions with a trainer as well. This is a great place to work out, everyone is friendly and helpful.

24 Hour Fitness isn't fancy but it has what you need: plenty of cardio equipment, two large weight rooms, a pool, ab room, babysitting area, etc etc. Members are 'regular' people of all ages & sizes (as opposed to the 'beautiful' types found at other gyms). When signing up new members, the staff generally doesn't use the hard sell approach, which is unusual for a gym. Check rates online, as they can be a little cheaper than negotiating in person. Cons: the pool seems to be closed for repairs frequently and even with all the cardio equipment, there's still a line during peak hours (weekdays after 5pm, weekends 10am-noon).
