The giant elaborate displays in the windows always lure my five year old into this great toy store. Apparently, the store did start out carrying only puzzles, but feedback from customers made the owners start to stock a lot of other great things for kids.
The store is still short on electronics and long on imagination. A good thing from a Mom who knows how most toys can suck batteries. They have a great selection of unique board games, many more than at your local TRU.
And the stuffed animal selection makes the "zoo" in the name make sense. They also rely heavily on movie products which is great for all the Hollywood brats who love to shop for the latest movie stuff.
Bottomline: Unique kids boutique great for finding gifts that are not available at every kids superstore.

I went to the Pump station after I had to leave my daughter at the hospital when she was born. Recommended to me by my OB-GYN, I was able to rent an excellent, fast, electronic, get nursing gel pads and a natural nipple lotion to soothe and heal my cracked, sore nipples. I also picked up literature on how to breastfeed correctly. After that initial induction, I went there for breastfeeding support groups and special hard to find nursing and baby products.
The staff there is excellent and very knowledgeable, however it is pricey and difficult to find parking. But, the bottom line is, if you need some support as a parent, they are there to guide and provide you with lots of material. you can also look them up online at www.pumpstation.com. they are located on wilshire between 22nd and 23rd street.

What an amazing store with so much to see.It has beautiful high end kids clothes at prices that are reasonable.The
staff are really friendly and very helpful.I accepted their offer to giftwrap and it looked great,they even attached a toy,at no extra charge.Kidsbizz was recommended and I will definately go back

Fred Segal is THE store in Los Angeles. Well known by famous celebrities, this store is so cool! It has really trendy stuff from Chloe to Diesel and Couture. It's really fun because they also have like mini eateries where you can get some sandwiches to take a break! I typically get pretty hungry while shopping. I saw some fantasticly cute little clothes for babies. I'm definitely going to get something for my friend's baby.

If you have small children, you've heard of flap happy. Their hats may be funny looking but they do a great job of protecting your child from the sun (if they will wear a hat). I love their swim diapers. Unlike kushies, they pull on and look like bikini bottoms. They do a grat job and come in a variety of prints. Flap Happy can be spendy, so this place is a good alternitive if you like their stuff.

My New Friends is another baby clothing store I just love to go to to find beautiful and unique baby clothes. My sister and I make it a habit of visiting this store whenever we go on our shopping dates together. They have a very nice selection of clothing and some accesories. The owner is quite pleasant and very helpful too.

Aero Hobbies is located in Santa Monica. There is ample parking in their parking lot. The selection of toys and hobbies are great. You can spend hours looking around the shop for unique items. They have the latest games and toys in stock. The prices are a little high because this is not a chain toy store. The staff was very helpful on suggesting gift items.
