Very fast service. Even though they wash a ton of cars, there is usually never a big line for the vacuums (except on Saturdays when they are REALLY busy). Best time to go is early in the morning before the daily rush of cars.
Their wax & carpet shampoo is a great bargain. They also offer oil changes, though I get mine done elsewhere usually.
One thing to do... NEGOTIATE THE PRICE!!! If you get 2-3 services, you can haggle with the service advisor guy to get a discount of anywhere from 10% to 20%!!!

Yes, the prices are a bit expensive, but so are most other car washes on the westside. I like Wilshire West because you can bargain down the sales guy from a $50 hand wax to around $40 pretty... More
Yes, the prices are a bit expensive, but so are most other car washes on the westside. I like Wilshire West because you can bargain down the sales guy from a $50 hand wax to around $40 pretty easily. They do a great job, very fast service, and have an excellent selection of greeting cards and gifts.

I have convertable and I do a $50 hand wash an wax which is great... however, I always notice that the miss some spots, so at the end I do a little inspection and point our four or five spots they... More
I have convertable and I do a $50 hand wash an wax which is great... however, I always notice that the miss some spots, so at the end I do a little inspection and point our four or five spots they missed. Now they know me (and my yellow car) so they do a much better job.

Wilshire West is a large car wash located in a busy section of Santa Monica. As a result, the line can get fairly long (6, 7 cars deep) -- especially on weekend mornings and even mid-day during the week. Prices are average but if you purchase a package, you can save some money. Machine wash is the "default" but hand wash is available, too. The staff is thorough and generally does an excellent job. That said, if there's damage to a vehicle after a wash, management will not assume responsibility for it. They might offer you coupons towards future services, but that's it.
