Pete's has reopened since their fire and I am happy to find it pretty much the same. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The selection is great and, in my experience, Pete only carries good stuff. I bought my dog her first everything when I picked her up from the pound. We bought and outfitted our fish tank there. And now that our son is getting bigger, we have been enjoying just shopping and asking questions as we think about future pets. It's great to support a local business that really deserves to be patronized. So hurray for Pete's and glad to have this business back in our lives. (Pete's was closed for about a year due to a devastating fire.)

I'm a mom so I have to admit, I've never really looked at the rest of the shop. What I love is the good quality toys. If you want a good quality western toy while shopping Santa Fe, this is the place to go. And even if you just want some great goodies. The layout is both kid friendly and appealing. Apple baskets arranged at various levels tempt you to inspect each one. I especially liked the wind up music box, minus the box. My son wanted the stick horse that whinnied.

Great, friendly service. Staff goes to extra trouble to accommodate shoppers. Wonderful array of scarves, sweaters, jewelry. Prices below what you would expect for the great design and variety. A fun experience. We went back twice in three days.

Our family has been visiting Santa Fe for over 38 years. We love Tin-Nee-Ann's. When we had young children we could afford to take them in the store and felt welcome. They are always ready to teach and share their knowledge about stone, jewlery and native american art. They as so very patient. They will tell you that they think everything is authentic but look carefully because even they can be fulled. They have the junk for the children and art pieces out of this world. I had an old cross that I had never been able to wear because I could not find a chain that would work with it. There silver smith aka. "Spider Lady" (she loves spiders) helped me make a choice that I have since realized was very authentic. It was a piece my mother had bought 5o years before and was special to me. The chain was less than $30 dollars but I could have been spending $3000 for the care they gave me. They have trays and trays of rings, slide and earrings. I have spent hours looking. Might get 5 or 6 pairs. They get tired but are absolutely always kind and supportive. This review is late in coming but well deserved.

This is a German based jeweler located right on the Plaza in Santa Fe. There are few North American outposts and I stumbled upon it one year. Since then, I've always had to stop in and get something. The prices are not overly expensive and I love the unique concepts. Most of the jewelry requires you to "build-your-own" unique piece, which is so cool! And of course, the quality of the craftsmanship is excellent.
Pros: Imaginative, beautiful jewelry shop

If you don't need hemp, you still need the hemp store bumper stickers. Wondering where to buy the latest subversive saying? Probably at The Hemp Store. The selection of hemp clothing and goods changes regularly. I was very sad that they didn't have the hemp cloth diapers when I was ready for them. But they do have great organic cotton underwear and socks. Lots of hemp clothing and bags. And like I said, those great bumper stickers.
