I was in Santa Fe for the last two weeks and took three Pilates classes from Mel at Pilates Fitness Plus on St. Francis Drive (after Trader Joe's and between the Dunkin Donuts and the "Martinizing" dry cleaner). I would recommend Pliates Fitness Plus and Mel without reservation. He is attentive to each of his students (even in a class setting where the students may not all be of the same level). He keeps you going throughout the class so that when you get out of there, you know you had a great, great workout. He has a "Power Plate" he uses for various stretching and toning exercises between a number of the excercises on his new Pilates "reformers" and other missions.
