I love double take. I've been shopping there for five years now and I've never left empty handed. This consignment store has great new wooden toys as well as a small room with used toys literally floor to ceiling. There is also a nice selection of kids books and some movies. Really great finds can be had in larger toys like wooden rocking horses or doll houses. Just ask to be put on a contact list if you are searching for something specific. The best part of all is that there is so much else to choose from. Kids clothes, strollers, slings and carriers, on and on, even some cloth diapers. Call ahead for times to drop off consignment. They only take so many things at a time and season specific.

We dined here while visiting Santa Fe this past year. It was great. They serve New Mexican fare at reasonable prices. The restaurant, as the name implies, is filled with old world charm.

I haven't lived in Santa Fe for five years but went back for a visit recently and found that Doubletake is one of the best consignment shops in the world. I've lived in a lot of "fancy" places, and nothing beats the interesting, unique, ever-changing and - yes - chic - clothing in this abundant and friendly store. Fashion mavens: do not miss out on the incredible bargains and "finds" at this store. It has expanded, by the way. A total treasure trove. Thanks to the always-accommodating, upbeat and helpful staff and management. (Wish you would come to Las Vegas - we need you!)
Pros: Ever-changing, abundant inventory; interesting, chic finds at bargains; great prices; fun staff
Cons: Parking can get hairy on Zia - do yourself a favor and park on Guadaloupe.

This is a German based jeweler located right on the Plaza in Santa Fe. There are few North American outposts and I stumbled upon it one year. Since then, I've always had to stop in and get something. The prices are not overly expensive and I love the unique concepts. Most of the jewelry requires you to "build-your-own" unique piece, which is so cool! And of course, the quality of the craftsmanship is excellent.
Pros: Imaginative, beautiful jewelry shop

I've shopped at Spirit for over 20 years. It's an intriguing place with unusual clothing. I've always been satisfied with my purchases. It's a good place to find something out of the ordinary. It's located right in downtown Santa Fe, so it's easy to find.

They have some really unique jewelry and artwork in this shop, it's beautiful if you are interested in the southwest culture. There is a wide selection and the service is also great, but again pricey.

Is what you will read on the sign at the door of SF Jewelers Supply. You pretty much need a wholesale number to shop here. This is a great place for findings with some beads and cabs. The equipment is beyond me but I know that they are knowledgeable and helpful. For a larger selection you have to go to Albuquerque or shop a catalogue. A solid jewelers supply. Everything is well displayed with price books available for lookup while you wait.

Avoid them at all costs. Keep your receipt. Check the date on the receipt to be sure that it is correct. Charge your purchase on a credit card. Keep a copy of the bill . Do not let the owner try to repair any piece of jewelry. He uses glue and can not match the stones. He will not stand by his product. Daughter purchased a coral needle point sungod ring and bracelet. She tried to were it 3 - 4 different times and a stone fell out each time. She is 30 something and never worn it to work. If it sounds to good to be true it probably is!!!!
