Our family has been visiting Santa Fe for over 38 years. We love Tin-Nee-Ann's. When we had young children we could afford to take them in the store and felt welcome. They are always ready to teach and share their knowledge about stone, jewlery and native american art. They as so very patient. They will tell you that they think everything is authentic but look carefully because even they can be fulled. They have the junk for the children and art pieces out of this world. I had an old cross that I had never been able to wear because I could not find a chain that would work with it. There silver smith aka. "Spider Lady" (she loves spiders) helped me make a choice that I have since realized was very authentic. It was a piece my mother had bought 5o years before and was special to me. The chain was less than $30 dollars but I could have been spending $3000 for the care they gave me. They have trays and trays of rings, slide and earrings. I have spent hours looking. Might get 5 or 6 pairs. They get tired but are absolutely always kind and supportive. This review is late in coming but well deserved.

The Ark is a little bit hard to find so bring your map and drive slowly on Agua Fria or you are likely to miss Romero St. Once you enter the store you are immediately relaxed by the gentle music, beautiful surroundings and healing energy. This store has a great selection of books you can just lose yourself here. Comfortable chairs are scattered throughout the rooms and I felt invited to take my time and really look through the books. They also carry great music and jewelry.

I think that every card and fun store has it's own personality but I doubt that there are any out there with more personality than doodlets. I've been shopping there since I was a girl and can't go in unless I have some serious time. Perfect if you want something different for any occasion. From the bizarre to the cute, Easter to Day of the Dead, they have just really great stuff. And it seems like it changes every time I go in. Love it, love it, love it.

Being a jewelry lover who particularly loves all things southwestern, I always make Ortegas one of my first stops when visiting Santa Fe. I never fail to find beautiful, unique pieces of handcrafted silver and colorful stones. The sales women are friendly and knowledgeable and if I'm lucky while browsing, a feautured designer will walk in the door with his/her latest creations. I adore my collection from Ortegas on the Plaza and am guaranteed lots of compliments when wearing the eye-catching treasures. Be sure to visit the store filled with irresistible jewelry and belt buckles next time you're in Santa Fe--but leave some for me! A., Weston, MA
Pros: Feast for the eyes

This place has a ton of trees full of decorations all set up for you to see, it's beautiful. All the decorations they have are beautiful and would make any christmas wonderful, but the only downside is like everything in Santa Fe is they are very expensive.

I'm a mom so I have to admit, I've never really looked at the rest of the shop. What I love is the good quality toys. If you want a good quality western toy while shopping Santa Fe, this is the place to go. And even if you just want some great goodies. The layout is both kid friendly and appealing. Apple baskets arranged at various levels tempt you to inspect each one. I especially liked the wind up music box, minus the box. My son wanted the stick horse that whinnied.
