Sat in the bar area. Bartender was efficient and attentive. Decent beer, great food - simple, homemade taste and good quality. Comfortable atmosphere at a decent price. Very generous margarita. Highly recommended, get there early enough for the lunch rush or you may have to wait for a seat. The atmosphere of the bar/saloon area is more attractive and befitting than the restaurant section.
Pros: food, drink, price, casual atmosphere
Cons: nothing really bad, just make sure you get there early or late enough for a seat due to popularity

The Inn of the Governor's has a fab little restaurant/bar called Del Charro Saloon. I work nearby and often go there for lunch or after work for drinks with co-workers. The prices are mind-boggling for Santa Fe.....everything on the menu is $4 to $5! And the food is VERY tasty. I love the stuffed poblano. The burger is delicious. Same for sandwiches and salads. As for ambience, the "outdoor" tented area (with fireplace") is very cool indeed.
