the mechanic was willing to discuss options and what was essential and what could wait. He even gave me tips on selling the car. when I went to pick her up, he showed me exactally what was wrong and what he did to fix it. even the receptionist was awesome.
Con: only services 5 types of cars, but they recommend for other car types if you want someone you can trust.

Every time I have gone, they have been prompt, forthcoming, and friendly... very Unsanta Fe from what I've experienced in most areas of customer service thus far. Whenever they need to do further testing and whatnot, they have always called straight away, explained the situation in Layman's terms, and asked for permission to perform said tests. Many times if a timeframe has been quoted and they didn't need all the time they said, they would be honest enough to say so. Whenever we have gotten our car back, there has never been an issue afterwards-the problems have always been addressed and totally taken care of. They always explain what the problem was in detail with a diagram of the car and have given me preventative measures, if any. I strongly suggest and recommend these guys. I really appreciate their respect and work.
Pros: Helpful, fast, competent
Cons: nothing yet so far

We mostly went to Santa Fe for the Art with a capital A and had to make the obligatory stop at the Harley store for my husband to fulfill his Harley T-shirt obsession. This was a nice store. Seemed to have all that you'd need for your bike.

I purchased a used Honda in New Mexico and was driving it back to Denver when the car broke down and stranded me in Santa Fe. I called FAST out of the phone book, but also called several other places frantically trying to get it into the first place that would send a tow truck. Unfortunately, I had it towed to the Santa Fe Firestone (only because they said they could fix it quickly and get me back on the road), however, once the car arrived at Firestone, they said it was a "major transmission problem" that they couldn't handle. By this time, I had sent the tow driver from FAST away! Later that evening, Jim from FAST called just to follow up and ask why I had gone elsewhere. I told Jim what had happened and described what the car was doing at the time of the break down, and he suggested I bring it in to his shop, he thought it might not be transmission after all. Ultimately, what Firestone had said was a "major transmission problem", turned out to be a CV Axel that had come loose - a minor repair and certainly far less expensive then anything related to the transmission. I know nothing about cars and believe now that I was being railroaded into replacing the transmission in my Honda! FAST went out of their way to call me, and then did only the necessary repairs in an honest and professional way. Jebb and Jim's customer service and care and concern for me was amazing and I will recommend them to anyone needing auto repairs in Santa Fe!
Pros: Honest, professional, exceptional customer service!
Cons: None

Looking for a used car? Well then head on down to this dealership, but be prepared to be RIPPED OFF! There prices are at least $3,000 OVER MSRP on nearly every car on their lot. I was just looking for a good, used car, but when I looked up what the price SHOULD have cost, I realized that this place was ripping people off royally.
Do yourself a favor and STAY FAR AWAY. Better to go to Albq. or anywhere else rather than this place.
Pros: No Selection
Cons: No Selection

Too bad if you happen to be a woman, bec. if you are, you can expect to be treated like dirt. Consistently overpriced - way over MSRP., and they think that's just fine. Of course, it's fine for them, but not for consumers like us.
Don't waste your time here.
Pros: None
