I was looking for a moving company to move my daughter to NY City from the Bay Area. She only had a studio size apartment of boxes and stuff. American Choice Van Lines picked up on time and did a great job of wrapping her 46"LCD television. She only had 37 pieces to move, mostly boxes. In getting the quote, they estimated 7-14 days. American Choice followed through very well in delivering her stuff on the tenth day after pickup. The delivery men were very nice and helped set up the apartment. They were the best quote of all the movers I spoke with and they did a very job. I would use them again.

As I had to make a move and I contacted R1 movers and storage to help me. They accepted and the movers showed up on time. They were very friendly and knew exactly what questions to ask and what to do at the new house. They moved all my belongings carefully and efficiently. The movers were true and work very hard. I am very happy with the prompt and professional service that I received from everyone at your firm. I would certainly use and recommend R1 movers and storage to family and friends. These guys are the nicest and friendliest company. the movers were really patient with all of my concerns and questions. I'm uptight with committing to something and Ron was very helpful in explaining everything step by step. He even emailed me everything i could possibly want to know. We spent two wonderful nights at the Plaza Suites. Our suite was newly remodeled, new paint, new furniture, new bathroom fixtures, new draperies, two new flatscreen TV's, etc.. Our suite was spotlessly clean as was the hotel. Towels were soft and abundant. A soft terry-cloth robe was provided as well. Complimentary cocktails and "cooked to order" breakfast entree' was much better than the typical hotel fare. Our suite was quiet despite facing Highway 101. The hotel staff were professional and attentive. Hotel manager communicated with us frequently to assure our comfort and satisfaction. Our visitor from the area was impressed with the hotel and our suite and will begin referring corporate clients there.
Pros: Great place to stay!
Cons: What was not to like????

The Executive Lounge on the 8th floor has all the beer and wine you need to wind down your day and the snacks aren't too bad either. Everything at the hotel seems to be in good shape, the service is very good, and its in a great location. My last stay about 30 days ago was at the Fiarmont in downtown San Jose and if you're on the move, don't want to deal with downtown traffic, this is the place for you. No parking charges, quickly in and out of the hotel, this Hilton is a good choice. Also, I think the service is the same for the two hotels, and I think the rooms are slightly better at the Hilton. They've finally upgraded their beds to something similar to the Westin's, and I can't ask for more.
Pros: Nice Plush Beds, Well Maintained, Good Location
Cons: Ok Food
