I love this store for many reasons, not just because I have received cute gifts from friends from here but because it is a wonderful place to get a fun and personal gift for a family friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, etc.
If you aren't familiar with Build a Bear's, it is a teddy bear factory where you can choose an animal (they have bears, frogs, monkeys, etc) and then you get to stuff it with fluff and even put a little heart in it. Then you get to name your little friend, choose clothes for him/her and then take him/her back in a little carboard house.
It is a wonderful place that kids and adults both love and I think it's just a fun place to go.

I must say that my experience at Allan Salon was nothing less than appreciated. I heard of the salon from my co-workers. After the first time of haircut and color my hair was beautiful. I was so excited to discover this place.

This place has a soothing presence about it as you walk in and explore the figurines and statues that abound for sale. Great books too. Be sure to check out their garden while you are there and the creepy statue whose eyes seem to move along with yours.
This is a really nice church though and you can also go inside and pay quarters to light a candle for a loved one. I was raised catholic and while i no longer am, i do enjoy going to this shop and this property to reflect, remember, and to pray.

I have used Brooks Jewelers for many,many years and I would not take my Jewelry ANYWHERE else,. Franco Roma is the most professional, honest man I have met...in fact when my Aunt and Uncle were still traveling they would bring their rings from Florida for him to work on because he is that good!

I already loved Hanna Andersson clothing, but the store makes you want to go there more often than you need new upscale kids clothes! They have a train table for the kids to play while you're shopping and a bathroom for moms and kids alike. They have great service as well. I'm so glad we have a Hanna Andersson in the Bay Area!

Janie & Jack has the most adorable clothes for children (up to 5T). They carry clothes for both boys and girls and they even have a section for newborn infant layette. The store releases 1 or 2 lines each month with coordinating pieces. The prices are a little steep but the clothes hold up very well and have excellent resale value (I resell my son's used clothes on eBay). The stores don't usually do promotions but the lines do go on sale after they have been out for a while. A few times a year they have Season Finale sale and it is a great opportunity to stock up pieces for the following year at great prices.
