korea house has been around a very long time, and that fact is testimony to something good about it. i know many nonkoreans enjoy the fact that the service is veyr patient with them and will take the time to explain the various korean dishes that may be unfamiliar to some. back in the 1980s, a silicon valleyite might've heard "korean food" and immediately associated that with "korean bbq." in this day and age, the general "mainstream" public has learned that there is much more to korean cuisine than just "korean bbq." everything's _not_ just bulgogi and galbi. anyway, korea house was here back then, and korea house is here now.
back in the 1980s, el camino real wasn't really known as "k-town" or "korea town," but apparently young asian-americans in the area have started calling the stretch of el camino real between santa clara and sunnyvale that. you have so many choices of authentic korean as well as south asian restaurants along the strip. although korea house is a longtime favourite of residents of the area because it was likely their first exposure to korean culture, when one's ready to experience more, they ought to venture out.
for example, two restaurants up the road also provide a wide range of korean dishes underneath a single roof. what i mean by that is that usually a korean restaurant really specializes only in one kind of cuisine, whether it's bbq, soon tofu, cold noodles, thick beef broth soup, bar food or whatver. however, two restaurants up the road gilmok (aka "corner place") and chuhnggiwa (aka "blue stones") can give you good varieties of korean dishes in authentically korean environments. anyway, that's just my 20 won.

This Korean buffet resturant is a wonderful place to go. Although they do not speak very much English, they are very patient and treated us very nicely. Food is wonderful. At lunch, prices are quite low, and the good food just keeps on coming. All in all, Korea House offers good service, food, and value. The only problems I can think of is the lack of adequate parking.
