since gold has been going up in price, I've been shopping around trying to find who has the best price. I've already purchased 3 gold coins and several gifts for friends and family, from kumar jewellers. Staff is good, selection-fantastic. Will be coming back soon.

The nice thing about indian jewelery stores is that you can get 22K gold ornaments. Other stores usually carry jewelry from 10K to 18K. They have a good selection of traditional indian designs to choose from. The people were quite friendly and didn't mind when we took our time in selecting the ring we wanted.

I really like them. The best part is that they have great things for children of all ages. I was able to get some really nice gifts for my newborn twin nephews. Definately a family jewelery store! as well as friendly service. They gave us a good price to meet our needs :)!

This Tiffany's, in Valley Fair, although small, is very nice. The sales associates were very kind to me. Although I am young, they did not ignore me like another store had. I came in, was promptly helped, and was on my way pretty quickly. On this particular day I was having trouble deciding between a couple of pieces, but the gentleman who helped me was not rude nor did he act burdened by my presence, but was very patient and kind.

I really like them. The best part is that they have a great variety for the whole family. Men women and children's selection. I was able to get some really nice gifts for my newborn twin nephews. I bought my girlfriend a diamond necklace here. Upon entering, I pretty much knew what I wanted and the employee showed me what I was looking for. Their selection was decent and I was able to find the right necklace in short order. They have a cleaning service which is nice. They also include a cert for the diamond itself. While the necklace was on sale (as jewelry in most of these places usually are), I still felt they could've come down a bit more on the price. But one cannot put a price tag on love, and she was blown away by her gift.
Pros: friendly staff
Cons: bit pricey

My husband and I bought our wedding rings at Samuels Jeweler in Foster City 22 years ago. They closed that store 15 years ago. I have my ring checked for loose diamonds every 6 months because they are channel set. This Samuel Jewelery Store in the Valley Fair Mall is the best one I have found. I trust them and they do good work when my ring needs repair.
