I thought that I knew what I wanted when I arrived at Kitchen Galleries with a design from one of the big box stores. My plan was to see if they could do it cheaper. Well, Marina and Dario started asking questions and they never attacked my design. The stove was moved from the island, deep drawers were added for pots and pans, a platerack was placed over the dishwasher and the design allowed easy access to all parts of the kitchen when cooking.
We had a few problems with installation, Dario met several times with the cabinet installer and the issues were resolved.
We have a beautiful kitchen that is extremely functional. Marina and Dario did a great job.
Pros: Great communication, delivered as promised, high quality products

Kitchen Galleries did a great job designing our new kitchen. Cathy and Dario were full of great ideas, yet very open to input from us. Kitchen Design was also very aware of our budget and helped us stay within it. We have one more bathroom to remodel and Kitchen Galleries will be our first call. I have already and will continue to recommend them to all my friends, family and clients!
Pros: professional designers, to code plans, free design

I knew what I wanted for my kitchen redesign... but Dario came out took measurements and took it a step above. Two must haves, for me, were to move the refrigerator to the otherside of the room and switch from an electric to a gas cooktop. After a couple of trips to their showroom we finalized the design and I chose cabinets and countertop. A trip with Marina to a tile supplier resulted in a beautiful backsplash. The contractor they recommended was very professional and did a fantastic job.
Once I got started I couldn't stop and asked Marina to redesign my bathrooms. Both bathrooms are on the small side; but Marina's design and fixture selection resulted in elegance... giving both rooms a larger feel.
I am pleased to recommend Kitchen Galleries.
Thanks Marina and Dario!

PROFESSIONAL, CREATIVE, MOST SATISFYING is the experience me and my wife had with Kitchen Galleries. A few months ago we went to Kitchen Galleries for our upcoming kitchen remodel. We had checked several other companies but found them too expensive or unprofesional. Kitchen Galleries seemed a perfect little company to handle our kitchen, they have a beautiful showroom and friendly, knowledgeable staff. The cabinets, layout, silestone countertop and sinks they recommended were of really high quality and well priced (we had shopped around by then and could compare prices). They did not charge any design fees unlike other companies, Dario came out to the house himself and took measurements. Our custom maple cabinets were delivered on time and right to the house! We were quite impressed with the high level of professionalism and customer service that both Marina and Dario provided. We get a lof of compliments on our new kitchen from friends, family and neighbors. We are extremely happy and highly recommend KG and would use their services again.

So, I don't give out five star reviews to anyone. I also saw a lot of reviews here from one- or two-review people and wondered if they were all real. But I figured it couldn't hurt to go over and scope out the showroom on my own, because I usually have pretty good radar for whether someone is full of it or not. After talking to Marina for about fifteen minutes I decided I wanted to have these guys do my kitchen counters. In the first meeting (total cold-call walk in) I paid a lot of attention to the questions she was asking me and the information she was giving me, because in my book unprompted detail tells me a lot about how detail-oriented someone is. She told me all about stainless steel sink gauge *without me having to ask* -- which told me I could stop worrying about having to understand all the details on my own and just let her make recommendations. I gave her my measurements of the kitchen and she had the quartz guys put together a quote for it. The quote was *under* the estimate I got from another company in San Carlos last year. What's more, it also included tear-out and plywood leveling, which the other company had pretty much brushed off as well, that's your problem, we don't do that. So I said, what the heck, let's do this. Tile counters came out on a Friday; quartz counters were installed two weeks later. No delays, no snags. Kitchen Galleries also didn't give me trouble about only wanting to do my counters, unlike a couple of other places (et tu, Home Depot) who wanted me to rip out the whole kitchen because leveling existing cabinets is too hard. Sure, I'd do the whole thing if I had 40 grand, but the cabinets are only 15 years old and in good shape, it's just that revolting white tile and mildewed grout I wanted to get rid of.(And as it turned out, my plywood was in good enough shape AND level, so they didn't have to replace it and knocked it off

KG also recommended a plumber to help me disconnect and reconnect the sink and various appliances (no DIYer I). I am very pleased with this remodel, and like I said, I never hand out five-star reviews. Check 'em out. Sure, you could wear yourself out researching stone guys and plumbers and installers and demolition crews and haulaway services, or you can just go with good people who know good people, and I'm definitely in the latter camp. And I didn't even do anything requiring bigtime design skills!

Marina and Dario helped me and my wife design and remodel a house we inherited from her parents. Dario came over at no charge, took measurements of both bathrooms and the kitchen. A few days later he came up with a nice design for the kitchen, Marina with really elegant design for the baths. We were impressed. The prices seemed very competitive and we placed the orders. Kitchen Galleries helped find a wonderful installer whose attention to detail was more that any homeowner can wish for. The house was fixed and sold for over asking price! We were so impressed that we later went back to Kitchen Galleries to redesign a kitchen and two bathrooms in our own home. Needless to say - with creative layouts, beautiful products of high quality and immaculate installation the project turned out success once again. Thank you, Marina and Dario!
Pros: Local, family run, always accessable by phone
Cons: Second floor no elevator
