They made a mistake on my appointment which caused me to spend 45 minutes in the office just to pick up contact lenses. The contact lens specialist as they call her (although she is probably just the receptionist who has been there the longest) is rude and unprofessional and doesn't know more about contact lenses than I do. I was stuck with the young doctor right out of college who was more concerned that I tried a new lens solution than my eye health. I also paid twice as much as I did at my old doctor. If horrible customer service, catty employees and to be ripped off is your goal, this is the office for you. This is what I get for trying a new doctor, never again.

Since this is a specialty center, that already tells you that the cost of medical care will be several levels above seeing your own general practitioner. I drove an acquaintance here often, as the injured party could not get behind the wheel at the time. The place is professional, clean, and organized. The technicians are up to date with the new methods and they seemed to really know their stuff. I thought of it as a pampering facitlity for the sports ego at first, but the more I saw of what they do the more respect I had for their dedication to their specialty. I had a chiropracter adjust a few joints here and there and felt loads better, not realizing I was so tense beforehand.

My friend Willie took me to Tofu House today. Neither of us is Korean, but he said he's totally addicted to the "food of fire." Eating here was literally like eating fire - this was the hottest stuff I've eaten in a while.
It's clean, quick, cheap, and comfy. The menu is trivial - only about a dozen options. The Korean apps are great - like all korean restaurants you end up with a pile of stuff to munch on while the food is prepared.
I asked for mine "extra spicy." I got tofu / veggie / kimche soup. It came with an egg which I cracked and poured in the soup. I stirred and within 15 seconds it was fully cooked.
Fire. I ate fire for the next 15 minutes. Fire. I'm still thinking about fire. Awesome.
If you like spicy / hot food, this is the best. $17.50 for two people. Unreal.

Sadly, our wonderful Pediatrician, Dr. Mary Jane Pionk is moving out of the area (Santa Clara). My children likewise we the parents are sad to hear that she has to leave. We trully believe, she made us, feel so lucky to have her these past 6 years. She is such a kind, nurturing, intelligent, child-loving doctor any family would like to have. Her kind smile and simplicity as a Mom herself makes anyone comfortable and just excited to see her even during my children's illness'. Knowing she will take care, recommend or un-recommend medication. It was a pleasure having her care for our children. We will trully miss her. And henceforth ..good luck to your new area of practice. They are very thorough and professional, and very good at following up to make sure you get regular teeth cleanings. They also are skilled at the latest high-tech techniques (laser gum infection treatement, for example).
