New India bazar was my absolute favorite grocery store when I lived in Santa Clara. The best part of the store is its courteous and friendly staff. The variety is great for vegetables, groceries and fresh snacks and they often had promotion that gave free dvd rentals on purchases over $20 (free video over $10) I once purchased a coconut which turned out to be bad when i used it at home. I casually mentioned it at my next visit, and they asked me to take another coconut free of cost and apologised for the bad one.

Another one of the countless New India Bazar's that one see's springing up to join the ever expanding Indian grocery business (I wonder if they all have the same management). THis I believe was the original one on El Camino in Santa Clara and the cashiers here are either very sullen and grim and unhappy with life or very very loud. It is also starting to get a tad grimy for my comfort. THis place needs in a makeover IMO

This is a good place for fresh vegetables. They also sell fruits and spices. You gonna find all kinds of indian things here. Their price is also very reasonable. If you only wants to buy vegetable than it's very hard to spend 10 dollar. They also sell samosas and sweets which are very good. You can also get free movie rental if you spend 10 dollar.
