The OC Performing Arts center is great. It's probably got the most comfortable nosebleed section that I've been to on my student budget. The building is simply gorgeous inside and out and because of the various levels, it doesn't get too crowded during intermission when everyone pours into the lobbies. Definately check this place out once. They usually have something really interesting in the center of the spiral staircase.

Performing Arts in OC: The premiere performing arts center in OOrange County,, this temple to the arts sits smack in the middle of the "OC metro area" right across from the South Coast Repertory Theatre. Home to the hob nobbiest of hob nobs, the pretention in this place is not to be found anywhere else in the world. They do house thhe best performing arts in Orange County, so if it's big and it's coming to town , it will be here. Before you take your seat, be sure to take in the "firebird" sculpture in the lobby. For added kicks, ask one of the iced out blue hairs what it means, and hold on.
