Gourmet style food for low prices served to you by nervous culinary students, what could be more fun? A new menu is made every quarter. You must have reservations though.

50 Forks is the on-campus restaurant for The Art Institute of California-Orange County. The public is, of course, welcome but be sure to check the hours. As the restaurant is run by students in the Culinary programs at the college, the hours vary. Generally, the restaurant is open Monday - Wednesday from 11am - 1pm.
While the menu is limited (these are students, after all) the food is phenomenal! It's truly fine dining at half the price (or less). They switch the menus every quarter. They have great salads, appetizers, and main courses. Before I became vegan, I would often have their beef filet with potatoes in a reduction sauce - superb! The portions are small in comparison to most chain restaurants but then we as Americans typically eat too much anyway. The desserts are rich and delicious! And you can always have a cappucino instead of dessert if you'd like.
Pros: Delicious food, polite servers, great prices
Cons: No parking specifically for 50 Forks on the campus but you can park in visitor parking; lunch can take a while since these are students; atmosphere in restaurant is loud - need better acoustics
