I had 2 custom frameless shower enclosures made and installed at my own by the guys at A-1. They are absolutely the friendliest people in the glass industry. I am a Contractor and i have been buying glass doors for over 15 years . I have seen and dealt with there competitors and A-1 Shower Door Co. is Hands Down the Best. These Guys are no B.S .They will give you a Fair price and will give you the highest quality. Trust me don't bother going anywhere else for your Shower Doors. Pros: Can make and Design your shower door anyway you want Cons: wish they did more than shower doors.

I was shopping for frameless shower doors for three bathrooms I was having remodeled in my home. I went to A-1 because of their close location to Newport Beach. I was impressed with their selection and displays; however, my experience with the salesman I spoke with was very unpleasant. Since this was my first remodeling experience, I had several questions. The salesman's answers (I wish I had his name!) were condescending and clearly chauvinistic. I felt like I was a bother, was wasting his time, and had no business being there. Needless to say, I purchased my services from another business that treated me with respect and dignity-and ended up being closer to home. I ended up spending close to $10,000 for three custome shower enclosures. i would say it was A-1's loss, but they obviously don't need my business. Pros: Good Selection Cons: Degrading Service

Despite the only other review for A1, which is negative, I recently purchased a shower enclosure from A1 and am completely satisfied with the customer service and the product. My questions were answered promptly when I walked into the showroom and I was provided with all the info needed. I called to schedule measuring and the person showed up as scheduled to measure. Delivery was exactly when they said it would be as was the installation. I would definitely do business with this company again.

Their products are nice, but the customer service is one of the worst I have ever encountered. The salesman, an older fellow, who said he was the "manager", was a complete ignoramus! I find it hard to believe a company could stay in business very long, or at least profitably, with someone like this in charge. Now I know why so many of the contractors I spoke with, and even Lowes and HomeDepot Department Managers, told me to stay away and go to a competitor in South County... Pros: Nice products Cons: Not worth the heartache!
