San Pedro is an old naval town at the Southern tip of Los Angeles, and this is an old Navy complex that has been converted into an art colony. A friend of mine leases a room in one of the old barracks which he has converted into a recording studio and rents out fairly cheaply to help him pay his rent there. Other barracks are open for art classes as well as for visual artists and other musicians. It's in a very cool location overlooking the town of Pedro, the Port of Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean. A really neat place.

San Pedro is an old naval town at the Southern tip of Los Angeles, and this is an old Navy complex that has been converted into an art colony.
