I have gone to this restaurant twice and have been unimpressed. The first time my iced tea literally tasted like it had cough syrup in it, while my husband's tasted fine. I had pork tenderloin which was overcooked. I remembered the dessert as being good so I went back, but the food was just as bad as the first time and the dessert was bad too. I won't bother going again or recommending it.

Tasty thin crust pizza. Our family used to eat here all the time when it first opened. And doubtless it is still good (it is certainly still crowded), but to be honest I couldn't say for sure. Because either my parents or I have been away for San Mateo for the last six years, haven't eaten there in a long time.

I used to love North Beach Pizza when I bought it in San Francisco but I just don't like it either anymore or in San Mateo. Their pizza is pretty oily and I just don't like the taste. There is nothing special about it. The customer service is good, though, and it smells great walking around town but it's not worth it for the pizza.
