This is a place that only takes Cash and ATM cards, and there is a 50 cent fee for using an ATM. It is usually about 5 cents cheaper than the place across the street (a Valero) and it seems that it is a bit slower to raise the prices than other stations. It has the requisite mini-mart where you can buy the paper or get quick food that isn't very good for you.

Until this recent gas crisis, you could count on Gas and Shop to be among the lowest in the downtown area. Recently, I've noticed that it is higher than the Valero and Chevron across the street. I will shop there when/if we get back to normal. It's pay by cash or ATM only to keep the prices low and they have the requisite MiniMart to pick up a cup of coffee, a newspaper or all the things your mom told you weren't good for you (Twinkies, etc).

Until this recent gas crisis, you could count on Gas and Shop to be among the lowest in the downtown area. Recently, I've noticed that it is higher than the Valero and Chevron across the street. I will shop there when/if we get back to normal. It's pay by cash or ATM only to keep the prices low and they have the requisite MiniMart to pick up a cup of coffee, a newspaper or all the things your mom told you weren't good for you (Twinkies, etc).
