I crave sushi weekly and I am usually first to invite my friends to a JApanese resgtaurant. I've been going to California Roll often lately because I just love their cooked sushis. I also love the seaweed salad there and order a couple of orders of it - just for myself. it goes down well before sushi - and it is relatively inexpansive. i'd love to get their recipe of it but I don't think they'd share it :)
great restaurant - highly recomended

I go here a few times a month. Who doesn't enjoy sushi boats. As regulars, the sushi chefs know us and create our favorites without us asking. Tons of choices from rolls, sashimi, bento boxes, etc. These aren't your average sized rolls either, they're fairly large. They're always coming out with new rolls. Food is alway fresh and flavorful. Wonderful atmosphere, great service and just an overall fun restaurant. The sushi boat area can get a bit busy so head there before or after the dinner time rush. Definitely a must try if you're in the area. Decent parking considering they're in the downtown area.

At first, California Roll seems like just another hole in the wall type restaurant. When you step inside, the site of sushi boats revolving around the sushi bar instantly makes one hungry. The prices at California Roll are good, the cuisine is excellent, and one can get a good lunch bento box meal for under $10.
My favorite aspect of this restaurant is its speed. You can have a full meal, sushi, soup, whatever you like, in under 45 minutes. In and out in 45 minutes, great sushi, amazing prices... my favorite place.
