I went to Dr. Bowers when my only pair of glasses was cracked - my doctor couldn't see me for A WEEK! Dr. Bowers came recommended by a friend who has been his patient for years. He is a sole practitioner who doesn't keep you waiting and got my glasses quick! He also saved me money - I have a small head so he suggested kids frames which are cheaper. I have no complaints. I have lost the nose bridge pads and they have replaced them, drop in, no problem.

I heard that this was supposed to be painful, but you can actually control the amount of pressure. Rolfing deals with connective tissue and not muscles, and it manipulates these fibers to make lasting changes in your posture. It helped me visibly stand up straighter. I used to shop at Walgreen Drug Store all the time when I used to live in a city that did not have another drug store. I loved it. It has an OK selection - I could pretty much get anything there (even though the variety was not that great.) They were not good with returns. I once lost a recipet for a lipstick and they did not take it back - and it was not even used.

This is among the best dentist around here. My boyfriend and I have been going to him since we moved to this area. We enjoy the fact that he is so through and he really takes his time and ensure you get a good experience. He's very good with children and you see lots of smiling faces there all the time!

I would highly recommend Dr. Scopazzi in San Mateo. Not only is she an excellent dentist, she is really nice too. My husband has gone to the same dentist since he was 2. When that dentist retired, we had to find a new one. Dr. Scopazzi came highly recommended -- and even our 10 year old likes her.
Her office is run very efficiently -- which I really appreciate as my last dentist used to cancel appointments on me all the time.
