This place has been open for a long time, and for good reason. It has standard Italian fare on the menu, and comfortable surroundings. The prices are not too bad for the quality. The only thing is, if you are dining on the weekends, you might have to walk a few blocks. The 25th avenue shopping area has lots of eating places, and there is competition for parking!

There is plenty of space at Celia's and room for the large demand the place has. The neighborhood however is another story. They do have a small parking lot that fits less than ten cars, the rest have to circle around the blocks and find street parking, in direct competition with people parking cars outside of their houses as they get home from work. Sometimes you end up walking blocks to eat. This is never an issue when walking out to the car after the meal though, because Celia's leaves you feeling stuffed. It's not spectacular, but the atmosphere is lively. If you come on your birthday, the staff sings happy birthday to you in Mexican and American, and I think they bring out a lit cake for you too, and clap hands along with the singing.

I've gone here for a night out and a friend actually rented out the whole place for a birthday party. I wasn't impressed with the food either time, and I certainly wouldn't have rented it out. They have a standard menu and a pretty nice location off the water, but it is not worth going for the food.

I love Chevy's food for their fajitas (chicken, veggie and steak) and margaritas, but what makes this Chevy's best is their location. They are right on the water in Foster City and my kids love to watch and feed the birds while we are waiting. The staff is really good and has been there for a long time. I have also done takeout there which usually works out well, but going there and enjoying the ambiance is the reason to choose this Chevy's over any other one.

I used to love el torito for their salad. i forgot the name of it, but it has thse really cool nuts in it and i always go there for the salad. i also love the free salsa and cheaps. chips are always fresh and warm - and salsa is really hot and yummy. i am getting hungry thinking about it all.
i used to live in SF and El Torito in Serramantee closed and I could no longer enjoy my salad. but now, living in the mid peninsula, i make a trip to el torito every week

I was unimpressed with this hotel. It looks nice from the outside and is a pretty good location now that Target has groceries (but nothing is open within walking distance for breakfast except Starbucks), but it was a bad experience overall. Many hotels these days have free breakfasts, but here you pay $13 for what you can get free at other hotels. They do have a pretty good exercise room, but a tiny pool outside. The beds are horrible - they lean, and the pillows are bad as well. I wasn't convinced the refridgerator was cold enough to keep food in it for me either. I won't be staying here again.
