I used to work across the street from Krispy Kreme Donuts. It is always clean and the employees are incredibly friendly. I always enjoyed their use of manners (please, thank you, etc.) They counted back my change to me and gave me a LOT of napkins because I always requested extra. This store has a drive thru open 24 hours, which isn't amazing, as San Marcos has many stores which are open 24 hours. It is convenient, and it is wonderful to get a donut at night, or in the morning for that matter. You cannot beat a krispy kreme donut-- they are quality. It was also very enjoyable that you could see the donuts as they were being made if you actually go into the shop. Kids can get free Krispy Kreme hats. Not the most healthy, or the cheapest, but WONDERFUL all the same!

One event turned before my eyes when I handed the register a coupon for four free glazed donut. The register had no idea what the coupon is so she asked the manager for his approval. The manager, clueless and scratching in the back of his head, walked towards me and denied the coupon.
First of all, I must say that the coupon is valid in the San Diego area, does not expires until the 9th of October, and uses a barcode for which the register must scan through for approval. However, those were dismiss by them. It's a nice place to get your early donuts in the morning, but when time comes for the notice of the factory's management, they should know before hand. That goes for coupons as well.

When you see the red sign lit up, you have to go in. Not only does it mean they are giving out free donuts, but it means that are at their prime. Depending on how many of these bad boys you can put down, it can be a meal. Oh and don’t order juice, get milk, it’s the only way to go with donuts.

This place has the best donuts ever! It is especially great when you get there when they have just came out of the oven. The are fresh, warm and so soft. The nice thing is that they have a neon light on the outside of the building that will let you know when they are "Hot and Fresh". Very addicting!
