I love buying products made in the U.S.A. and this store sells SAS shoes-- well made USAmerican made shoes that last forever and are comfortable still. The person working in the store was extremely pleasant, helpful. SAS shoes are pricey, but I'd rather have one good, comfortable pair that three cheaply made pairs. I will go back and buy more SAS shoes from this store. If you want a lot of cheap shoes, shop elsewhere. I do for my kids. But for me, I spoil my feet with SAS shoes and support smaller stores in my neighborhood like The Shoe Place. Go for some great nearby food and then treat yourself to nice shoes! more

I have never bought a pair of shoes from the Shoe Place because they are a little pricey. I think they have a nice selection and a lot of different brands, but I can get a couple of pairs of shoes at other places for the price of one here. Though they do have good sales, and display shoes are marked down as well. more

party shoes 8/5/2005

I have been wearing a pair of black strappy Kenneth Cole brand heels ( that I bought from Shoe Place) for months during formal occassions. And, even though I love the style, the straps are very thin and I was just waiting for one of them to give out one day because the heels were a bit worn out when I had bought the shoes. I believe they were display shoes (at least that was what the clerk told me). Hopefully, they were not used/returned shoes. The heels are now falling apart. I don't think I would buy another pair of shoes from here unless I was certain they were brand new. more
