For services they do not offer themselves, they have a recommendation for an equally affordable place nearby.

The Japanese Friendship Garden in San Jose's Kelley Park was built in the 1960's and has been a local treasure ever since.
The Friendship Garden is a place that can be enjoyed by visitors of all ages. It is a great place to have a picnic, or enjoy a quiet moment with a good book. The exotic koi fish that swim in the garden ponds are wonderful.
There are feeding stations (converted gum ball machines) that allow visitors to purchase food and feed the fish. Feeding the koi is a great activity for kids. The koi are beautifully colored and some of them are ENORMOUS! The koi swarm at your feet when the food pellets are dropped into the water. Some of the fish will even take a pellet right from your fingers!!
The gardens are beautiful. There are pathways winding past waterfalls and through artfully created gardens. The high arched bridge near the entrance to the park is a popular spot for wedding photographs.
The overall feeling here is welcoming and serene. The gardens are beautiful and meticulously well-maintained. But the garden does not feel "sterile" and unwelcoming like some Japanese gardens. There is a real sense that this place belongs to the people who live here.

No, this is not YMCA Grant Daycare - it is YWCA! And it is a nice place for kids. I mistaked it with YMCA but it is nothing like it. Teachers are great - nice and kind, kids are happy and satisfied. Activities include music, arts and gym. We ended up choosing another place to take our kids - but YWCA Grant Daycare seemed like a really nice alternative.

Cigar shops and Music stores are my candy stores. This is a great music store with a lot of inventory to choose from. I have purchased three guitars from them over the years and I've been happy with every single one of them. Even down to the coolness of the low cost items like picks and other nick knacks. They back up everything that they sell.

After shopping around, reading the online reviews and finally talking to several magicians I choose Comedy Magician Patrick Reed because he had the most reaonable price and had the best reviews. He turned out to be everything that others had said about him and more. All the guests commented on how wonderful the magician was and my party was super fun!

A bento box comes with the meat of your choice, rice topped with minced pork and it's sauce, a seasoned boiled egg, a piece of seasoned tofu and some veggie. If you are not a big eater, a bento box can last two meals. They also offer a good selection of side dishes and meat such as salted-water duck, chicken, etc. If you plan to visit one of their 4 location often, be sure to buy a prepaid bento card for $55, your 11th bento box will be free!

This store is unlinke any other confectioners. Instead of drawing in customers with unhealthy candy or chocolate and offering fruit products on the side as an afterthought, it does the opposite. The dried fruits are the centerpiece. It is really beautiful inside and all the fruits look like the colors of the rainbow.. They have more than 70 kinds of fruits in their main store, even rare ones. There is an extensive collection of organic nuts, also (my favorites are the cashews).

When we were staying with Len's family in California we found Cold Stone Creamery in the Oakridge Mall food court.
I had never tried it before and was like a child with a new toy. Just trying to decide which flavor of ice cream to have and what ingredients to go with it.
I went 3 times in the week and had, cheesecake with raspberries, vanilla, strawberry with walnuts, and chocolate with pecans.
There were 3 sizes and I had the small, but split the middle size with Len's daughter.
The unit was spotlessly clean and the staff most helpful.
I am pleased to find out that one has just opened a few miles from me in Florida. I will only visit once a month otherwise my waistband will enlarge.
Located at 925 Blossom Hill Road, Suite 164, San Jose. This location is just off of 85 and 87 freeway.
Plenty of parking as it is in the Mall.
