I was quite surprised by this huge Victorian mansion, which is tuckedaway in a random San Jose neighborhood. You would never guess that is was even there. There is a beautiful water walkway outside. Once you go inside, you can see that the beauty of the mansion has been keep in keen condition. Many people hold company meetings and dinners here. There are luxurious rooms for intimate weddings or for a quiet weekend away for two. I just ate here, but the restaurant is quite nice and the service is great. The room is covered in dark oak, so the atmosphere can be very peaceful, if you don't mind the ghost like feel. The hotel offers a full bar as well. There is also a spa, which is perfect for any local. Find this secret San Jose place now!

Hollywood Video has a big selection of movies, games, and more. They have old and new stuff so that gives you more of a variety of shows. To rent is cheap, and also staff are friendly and help you to find things that you need. The parking is easy to find and this store is really organized, so you won't spend hours looking for something.

Great rental place. reasonable rental fees. However, the only complaint is that the movies run out quickly. If you are lucky, you go on Monday and Tuesday where the rentals come back. Since we moved, I haven't found a similar place like this. I wish they had more around.

Some have subtitles in English. The films usually originate from Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, and a little bit from Japan and Korea. It is a good place to check out for the original version of movies before they even hit the theaters (Jet Li, Zhang Ziyi movies).

The big 99 cent sign is what drew me into this store. I was sorely disappointed with the interior. It was a very stuffy, small, crowded space. There was no obvious organization to the store and I had no idea where to start. everything was piled atop one another. The products were not entirely useful on a general basis, such as ordinary shoelaces for 99cents and a very cheap looking thin plastic fly swatter.

This video rental store offers relatively the same movies as your local Hollywood Video or Blockbuster. I tried this place because it was close by a friends house and we were looking to rent a movie. The service could have been more friendly and more helpful,, but overall we got the movie we wanted. The experience was okay, but I recommend California Video only if its close and convenient for you to rent movies there. If not I suggest trying your local known video store such as Blockbuster or Hollywood Video.
