We have been to both sides of the restaurant...the dress-up side, and the more casual side. Both have the same food, same great service...but different prices. I dont quite understand that. I always enjoy their prime rib...perfectly cooked. Nice atmosphere.

This restaurant has two sides to it - the more upscale side where you dress up and the other is more of a cafe setting. Same food on both sides. The fondue is the best part of the meal and is to die for. The wait staff is always friendly and the service good, more so on the nice side. This is the place our family has gone to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, etc for years.

I went here with my family for dinner and we ordered our food. When the bill came I noticed that my meal was twice as expensive than what I saw on the menu. I got up and looked at the menu's and could not even find what I had ordered anymore. I asked the waiter what happened as I now can't find the entree. He said that I had been given the lunch menu and that this is the price for the item. I was upset as it was two times higher and said that the price I order is what I will pay. He bitched for awhile and I asked for the manager, who never came. The bill just came back with the old price scratched out and the actual price that I ordered was written in. Really put a damper on the meal experience.

A successful effort is made to bring this store to a level clearly above thy typical Denny's, Marie Calanders, take-the-family-out-for-a-change type of place. Familys are made welcome, I'm sure. I've been there for great breakfast and lunch. Tell you what. For folks on a budget, or teenagers trying to impress a young date, this could be it. This could be the place he/she remembers as "the night we went to that nice restraunt." Pros: relatively inexpensiv, nice ambience Cons: small parking lot

Stopped at the Bold Knight for lunch today and had the California Steak Salad. This is a Ceaser Salad served with Chunks of London Broil on the side. This is a wonderful salad. The food was excellent. I was seated promptly and my waitress was very pleasant and charming. I received my food in a timely manner and the price was very reasonable. My only complaint was that I was too early for the Cheese Fondue (The Best in the Valley). I can't wait to go back for dinner to enjoy a great steak and the fondue.
