It amazes us that this place isn't more crowded. My wife and I have been there probably 10 times, and I've enjoyed every dish that we've ordered.
Pros: Great food, good ambiance
Cons: Can't think of a single one

Seven is one of the new Trendy/Hipster restaurants that you see are now popping up all over San Jose. The restaurant has a very Modern/Hipster vibe to it and serves modern American food. They also have a nice bar/lounge area with a drink menu that is about 5 pages long.
We had dinner reservations at 6 and were promptly seated and the service was very attentive. The seating is too close for my taste. Seven changes their menu daily depending upon what is fresh. While their menu doesn't have a wide variety of choices, there are several good choices. The food here is very good (though they serve the bread cold) and they do an excellent job in plating presentation. Prices here are on the high side, expect to pay $5-$10 Cocktails, $7-$14 Salads/Appetizers, & Mains $15-$30.
Overall I would recommend this place for that special occasion.
Pros: Food, Service, Cocktail Selection
Cons: Price, Parking, Cramped Seating

We are so lucky to have St.Peter among our neighborhood restaraunts. In a sea of mediocre restraunts St.Peter is godsend. The atmosphere is always freindly and the food consistently good. When not overly busy they are happy to create a dish that suits your fancy if you happen to be in the mood for something not on the evenings menu. We love it and dine at St.Peter weekly!

This downtown hot spot has evolved into the very best steak house in the south bay. The ambience is far above average, the service is top drawer, and the food is always top drawer. This fine resturant is probably downgraded by being catagorized as a steakhouse, but it is no doubt the best in San Jose.
Pros: Food, Wine list, Service
Cons: Parking

An average pizza place where you won't be disappointed, nor excited by. It's not a terrible place and neither is it a place a whole heartedly recommend. However, the pizza it serves is not bad, but the enviorment is a little bland. Moderate prices, and lack of impressiveness failed to make an impression on me.

I'm surprise I’m the first to review this place; it’s popular and on a couple people I know’s “best burrito” list. I used to go here at least twice a week; they have what I believe are the best burritos of any place I’ve even gone to in San Jose. I made the choice to stop eating here because 4 times in a row, after eating my usual Carnitas Super Burrito, I got the “runs” BAD right after eating. And trust me, I have an iron stomach. Maybe it’s the ton of hot sauce I put on my food from the ketchup bottles they keep it in that does it; I’m not sure. They really need to upgrade their cleanliness policy though; I’ve seen the guy that makes burritos take out the trash and then go straight to making food. I sincerely hope this changes in the future, because I truly miss their food. Hopefully someone else can reply that their experience is different. If you’re feeling adventurous, it’s worth giving them a try though, they do have the best burritos in the area.

I recently moved out of the San Jose area and boy do I miss this place. Adelita's always has the freshest, tastiest food at low taqueria prices.
Instead of using guacamole for their super burritos/tacos, they use large slices of fresh avocado. Order the carne asada and a fresh strip is grilled and chopped up for your burrito. The chicken is also very juicy and tasty. As mentioned the salsa verde is very good.
Fantastic place you won't be disappointed. Best mexican food in San Jose by far, best I've ever had anywhere.
Pros: Fresh food, delicious food, low prices
Cons: Parking
