The Sunset. Quail egg, tobiko, yellowtail. $8.25 and worth every penny!!! That alone gives Yuri 5 untouchable stars...period.
Oh, they have many other delish guest creations and specialty rolls and I highly rate Yuri as "California Sushi" but not so much "Authentic Sushi" (California = creative rolls with mixed ingredients and special sauces. Authentic = nigiri or sashimi...awesomely fresh...pure fish...heavenly.)
Their rice tea is fabulous...I ask for a glass of ice on the side and make my own "iced rice tea"...LOVE it!

Much better than Mr. Chau's, and it's right up there with most sit down places. It's a Mom & Pop run place, so you know the food is made fresh! The prices are very reasonable, and the service is great!

Yankee Pier is a great casual restaurant across from the Concierge booth in Santana Row, with sidewalk seating that's great for people-watching on the Row. Inside it's decorated in the Cape Cod vein with a lighthouse and seafaring decor. This restaurant is owned by the Lark Creek Group/chef Bradley Ogden which owns incredible restaurants, and it puzzles me that it's never been crowded on the days I've been there because the seafood dishes are simple yet amazing. The salads are so fresh and crisp and my favorite dish, the Maine lobster roll, is to die for (I salivate as I type this). Cold lobster salad on a hot, toasted buttery roll and served with Kettle chips --- it's genius! Granted, I have not tried many items on the menu but from the experiences I've had here, I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

The right place to stay in San Jose. There are so many good things to stay about this place. The best thing about this place is the sheer elegance and the greatest and the best Customer Service. The people here are adorable and very prompt in their customer service and go out of their way to help you out in providing the best customer service. The hospitality is amazing and so is their food at teh restaurant and the room service. Ample parking space. Bill rate is a little high for a place like San Jose but so worth it.

I have been going here for many years, and honestly its not the first place i have eaten chinese food at and everyone else uses the lite color sweet and sour sauce, they use only the best, Sue and her family really work hard to treat you like your #1 everytime you return... Its the best and i recommend this place to everyone.

I'm not Taiwanese, so I don't know for sure if it's really authentic, but it seems to be as far as I can tell! It's not fancy or high class, but it's a clean *very clean* little cafe with Taiwanese/Japanese style bento featuring various entrees. I suggest the stewed pork, which is their specialty. The pork chop is popular as well, but some may find it to be too greasy. They also have boba milk tea and green bean soup to complement your meal for only one dollar!
By the way, this is a review for the Milpitas Square location, not San Jose, since I have never been to that one. For some reason, the Milpitas shop is not listed on this site.
