I am a sucker for ramen noodle soup. When I first heard the idea of going to a ramen house many years ago, I thought, "What is the big deal? I can boil up some instant ramen in 3 minutes!" But, soon, I learned my error in judgement. Getting fresh ramen from a specialty restaurant makes all the difference in the world. It doesn't taste even close to what instant ramen tastes like. It feels much healthier and is absolutely delicious. The consistency of the noodles here are perfectly firm and chewy, the soup is pungent with bamboo and very soothing to the stomach. They are decently generous with the pork and vegetable toppings. This place is so popular that there is a line coming out the door.

Jake's Pizza is known in town for its excellent pizza, but they have many other things as well. Their hamburgers and cheesburgers are the best in town (or anywhere else for that matter). For under eight dollars, you can get a cheeseburger, crunchy fries and a soda. They also offer delicious chicken fingers as well as many other items. They have a small area with games for the kids.

There are only three locations in the Bay Area (San Jose, Santa Cruz, and Capitola). Their walls are adorned with surf boards, surf music and memorabilia. It's a very casual, family friendly vibe. The pizza is great. You can buy a slice or take home or have a whole pie delivered. They offer regular types such as pepperoni or cheese as well as many vegetarian types. My favorite is called Prima, which is topped with feta cheese, roma tomatoes, and black olives.

good Pho! I am very picky when it comes to Pho but Pho Cong Ly satisfies me. It is very good. I liek the service too! I love their Vietnamese coffee. Althoguh once I drank their coffee black and could not sleep for a day and a half! be warned! if you havnet' drink coffee before, then don't! because it's very very strong compared to American coffee. order it w/ condensed milk and ice, that's yummy. this is very fulfilling food! i love food from here!

I have been going to Thai Bistro for lunch for at least six years now. For a while there the waiter didnt even have to take my order; he had to just see me and he would promptly get cook Judy's delightful yellow curry chicken. Very economical and very gastronomically delightful and very friendly as well. Lunch specials come with soup (ask for a larger bowl, you will love the soup), salad with peanut sauce and an entree. I recommend the Pad Thai and the Rama chicken (and of course the yellow curry chicken)

I seriously eat at The Great Wall every weekend. I love love this place it is so low key and there is never a long wait for the food. The sodas are so cold almost frozen.. I would recommend the Beef Chow Mein, Barbecue Pork Fried Rice, The egg Rolls are to die for, The Won Ton soup and Hot and Sour soup is delicious!! Lets see to tell you the truth everything is great there... I love it love it!!! You should try it, the people there are so friendly and it's like Cheer's everyone knows your name or they will know it!!!
