Ebay is my favorite place to shop for things. You can find things there that you can’t find anywhere else. I also like the adrenalin of out bidding people, although sometimes this way I have payed to much for a product. A good bit of the time though the bidding goes down to the last second.
You need to be careful who you buy from because if their rating is not 100% you need to
go through the comments and find out why. Sometimes people will just leave a
bad comment for a person, and its not merited. As you are bidding you also need to check and see if the person who is bidding against you has a number
beside their name other than zero, because sometimes it does not’t mean that they are a new person on Ebay. It can mean that this person is the actual saler bidding
against you. Sometimes I just go to Ebay to window shop because I am amazed at what they offer, things that you can’t find in your local stores. I have never
sold anything on Ebay, but I hear its pretty easy. To find out more about selling or buying on Ebay go to www.Ebay.com

a great source for items at low prices. You can get super bargains on small electronics, jewelry and lots of other things.
As for musical instruments, you have to be careful. A lot of what's there is out and out junk. Even the good stuff needs to be monitored carefully, because you could get an instrument that plays poorly or is in need of massive repairs.
So here are my tips for buying instruments on Ebay:
1. Only consider sellers with LOTS of positive feedback. I myself won't buy an instrument from anyone whose feedback % is lkess than 99.5
2. Stick to well known brands.
3. Look for vendors who allow a right of return. Many don't, some do.
4. Look at what similar models are selling for. There might be a reason why this particular one is selling for a lot less.
4. Use a snipe service to place your bid just at the end of the auction. Ebay tries to talk these down, because losing to a snipe really p1ssess off people who don't use them. However, snipe bidding works because it is successful.
auctionstealer.com is the best free snipe service but you only get three free snipes a week.
I've found auctionsniper.com to be the best and most cost-effective paid for service. Here is the link.

While I LOVE costumes form certain stores (or my own home) this year I opted for ebay. The kiddos are gonna be Captain Hook and Tinker Bell and I'm Peter Pan. Obviously since most of us know about ebay I won't write long on it. But most of our deals come from people lookin to make some money and us tryin to save some! Perfect scheme wouldn't ya say? ;)

I have always had very good luck with ebay when it comes to buying. I actually had one seller try to tell me he shipped me something, when he clearly did not & that got fixed & I received the product. I alwayd go with the notion buyer beware, and if it's too good to be true than it is. That however does not always work and In some cases even established ebay sellers have not sent people things.I would say buyers need to keep track of items purchased and if they are not sent first contact the sell if that does not resolve why you did not get the item, then contact ebay. I have had even better luck selling items & I need to sell some items again, so I always have a friend list them for me, I am not that good taking pictures and his pictures always look professional.

I love ebay and have never really had a problem with the site or with buying or selling. Recently I purchased one item and it never came, but when I emailed the seller about it he gave me an instant refund which I really appreciated. I think the feedback system really keeps people honest and ebay does a good job of banning people that are problems.

Ebay is the way to go for e-commerce. Originally when I started I thought winning was a myth. I would bid and bid and bid and would not win. Now, I am getting smarter and am actually up to like a 20! The best auction was one where the person misspelled the product and I happen to come upon it.
Now if only I could successfully sell something on ebay.

My brother used to try to get me into ebay, and I never really thought about it, but recently I have gotten very into the website. It truly has just about everything you can think of, and usually at a pretty good price. It is especially good if you are looking for event tickets that are sold out!

Ebay is really a part of the internet generation. I am always looking on ebay when I need to buy something for my kids or my house. Its like the world at my fingertips. I find that some sellers are less than I would hope, but ebay has always been polite in taking care of my problems and situations where I needed help in. When dealing with hostile people or those that lie and misrepresent items, ebay has always done everything they could to get a positive resolution. Next time you need something, check them out!

I just hate Ebay. Because so many people have turned it into their livelihood, there are many ways to use the system to your advantage, and you'd better hope you don't get one of them as a customer. If you have a problem, you have very little recourse because it is pretty much impossible to talk to an employee, and even if you do, they tell you to work it out with the seller. There is no responsiblity for problems that they may have created and can fix (like a way for someone to work the system which they could reprogram). They are only out there for their commission.

Ebay is awesome for most people. The benefits are that you can get some good products at low prices. The bad part about it is that you are buying from a lot of individuals, which doesn't automatically mean that you are going to get the best products. What is acceptable in John's eyes to sell, isn't always acceptable for Jane to buy. I have purchased things from Ebay that weren't as described and had a few problems with getting it taken care of, but mostly I get exactly what I am looking for and people take care of any issues that you run into. I have had sellers go above and beyond in making sure that you are happy with your purchase. I have also sold things on Ebay and been happy with the amount of money that I made off of them. I will say that I have been happy with everything that I have purchased on Ebay for myself, but will also warn that it won't automatically be that way for everyone. Have fun, and good luck.
