Recently I visited Woodpeckers Furniture to find a stand for my TV. I was very impressed with the selection there and especially their attitude about me not ultimately buying the stand. The salesperson was very sincere and told me everything that I needed to know about different woods, styles, and ventilations, which I needed for my TV components. At any rate, I may or may not go back, but I had a wonderful experience with them.

Do not shop at Black Sea Gallery. I know from personal experience-I used to work there years ago when they were first starting up. The quality and customer service was great then-but the owner got greedy and began opening store after store without fixing the existing problems.

I've had the pleasure of dropping my car off at almaden chevron for a great variety of reasons; oil changes, brakes, tune ups, etc. and I must each time I recieved honest and reliable advice as well as lower than dealership rates. I've never felt i was being forced to make the repairs suggested or even unsure of the suggestions being made. I'll be returning!

I had brought my 1996 Chrysler Cirrus in to Santa Teresa Shell for a diagnostic (kept stalling out) hoping they could locate the problem. I even had my car at the dealer twice with no results. The service manager at Santa Teresa Shell took the time to listen to my car problems. He asked numerous questions as far as when the car stalls, hot, cold, etc...not even the dealer inquired this much. I was given an estimate of $196.00 which I thought was a bit high but decided to have them give it a shot. The service manager called me in the afternoon asking if he could keep the car overnight so he could see what the car was like when cold. That afternoon on the second day he called that he had pinned down the problem. I told him to go ahead and fix the car. When I picked up the car it actually ran better then it has in a long time. He explained, in detail, what tests were performed. He said he spent over 4 hours diagnosing the problem, and after reading some of the information he had for the car during his diagnoses, I believe it took that long and the quote of $196.00 was actually more than fair. I don't think I'll be going anywhere else for repairs on my car other than Santa Teresa Shell.

Out with the old and in with the new!! Our kitchen was completely redone with new appliances and cabinets. We really dont have any complaints. They gave us a free estimate, a contract when we were ready and finished the work when they said they would.

WE had a very positive experience with J&H appliance regarding our Bosch dryer. We called them after having a frustrating experience with A&B appliance. A&B told us we needed $300 plus in new parts and they were not easy to deal with on the phone. So, we opted to go with J&H and Scott at J&H sent out Joe Reyes who was excellent and told us we only needed this $50 part and voila, all was fixed. They were very professional and they saved us over $300 with labor etc. GREAT JOB J&H, we'll definitely call you again!!!
