Dr. Lee does know her stuff, however I will say the frames and lenses are outrageously priced. Got my perscription and was told lenses and frames would be $795. This was after insisting I see cheaper frames. I took my prescription elsewhere and picked out expensive frames and my bill was $395. I would recommend the eye doctors, but take your prescription somewhere else. Dr. Lee's folks are definately fashion wannabe's and want to sell you hi buck glasses, I suspect they get a commission to push the high price stuff. To say that 20/20 Optometry provides excellent service is an understatement. Dr. Lee's warm manner and free-flowing conversation set me at ease right away. I felt like I had known her a long time. Her staff is very friendly and helpful. I lucked out and found a pair of really nice frames for $50 that had been $183. And it didn't hurt to have VSP, which cut my costs from around $500 to $247. All in all, my experience there was exceptional. I highly recommend them to anyone. Pros: Friendly Employees, Thorough Knowledge of Procedures

20/20 Optometry sets a new standard for customer satisfaction. Dr. Jeanette Lee possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience yet can convey her thoughts in a casual, down-to-earth way. Her pleasant demeanor and non-clinical attire do much to put a patient at ease. Her staff is flattering, yet honest when pairing a patient with the right frame for them. It's true that the frames to be found there are not cheap, but as they say, "you get what you pay for". The frames, like the service, are quality frames. I wouldn't expect anything less. If you want cheap frames, go to Costco....but if you want frames that will compliment your look and are built to last, go to 20/20 Optometry in San Jose. I would like to say if you are looking for an eye doctor plus staff to truly take care of your needs with the right eye wear. Then you have came to the right place. Jeanette Lee -n- her staff have really made 20/20 Optometry the place to be. I look forward to every visit. I live in South San Francisco and you all know how traffic is to get to San Jose on 101N. I hate traffic, but these are the times that I don't mind. They are honest, caring, kind, -n- might I add very attractive group of ladies. The opticians never steer you towards ones you cannot afford. Everyone at the office is very energetic and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for all ages. Before I found Dr. Lee and staff, I was bouncing from doctor and clinic to another. I was frustrated, my vision was getting worse by the year, or so the other doctors were telling me, and I was always forced to get glasses that did not fit and looked liked it belonged to Steve Urkel. By chance and research I found Dr. Lee. Not only did she correctly diagnose me but she also found and corrected an eye condition that was so early in its stage 4 other doctors failed to find it. Since then the quality of my vision has significantly improved. Furthermore, I was finally outfitted with affordable glasses that were not only fashionable but also fit perfectly. Ive been their patient for 4 years; between their excellent service and friendly and knowledgeable staff to the brilliant doctors I can not imagine going anywhere else. Neither should you. Pros: Incredible Staff, Great Hours, Easy to find

The first review is from an employee of this place fyi. During my visit I realized that the selection of eyewear was all overpriced. The affordable ones were nowhere to be seen, only expensive ones were recommended. My eye exam was very basic and not in detail. The office staff was trying to push expensive eyewear the whole time. When I did order a pair it took 2 weeks longer than what was told due to problems with the manufacturer/quality control issues. No apology was given. Overall Bad Service. Pros: Doctors work there, Facility exists Cons: Expensive, Pushy, Poor Service
