Besides the zillion of books they carry, the best I like is their stationery. They have a very good collection of journals and diaries. Even their kids section is very good. I bought some educational games from there and they were on a 50% sale. I could not get a better deal elsewhere !

I love the huge selection and the kids love the kids section. Lots to choose from and lots in stock as well. I like being able to go to the website and pre-order for pickup.

Makes it nice, but sometimes doing pre-order takes a few days longer it seems

After a day of shopping in Valley Fair or Santana Row, and I need to rest my poor feet, I usually head on over to Border's Books to rest, read a book, and have a nice cup of tea and a pastry. I just love the cafe space, although they could keep it a little cleaner and neater. I have found the book selection to be adequate. As a Border's VIP member, I get 20% discount coupons e-mailed to me. It's usually good for only one book, but it's free to join unlike the other big bookstore with the initials B & N.

Borders on Santana Row is quite nice, as it would have to be at this location. The store is two stories and has quite a bit of seating available if you like to just sit and read before purchasing your books. There is an in-store coffee shop, which makes it and even easier place to waste a few hours. There are also computers available throughout the store so you don't have to track down an employee in order to find what you are looking for.
